That's a particularly sharp question when you are talking about a law which is a final backstop against breaches of international human rights norms. You are going to assert a right to ignore those? Really?

Maybe you agree with Raab on voting rights for prisoners, or whatever. But once you've said 'it's ok to breach international human rights norms' how do you stop? Who says to you 'no, this breach of human rights really does cross a line'? It becomes so easy to breach them all.
