The insistence that the key explanatory factor is always some gigantic hyper-object -- Eurocentric cisheteropatriarchy -- is more than an annoying verbal tic or a way of doing coalition politics though it is both of those things
It's more than just a ritualized way of declaring affiliation with a professionalized vanguard class. It's a set of ascribed truths that condition what can be seen and spoken and determine the boundaries of authorized reality.
