There are so many people logged into Myrtleford Magistrates Court this morning for a private prosecution brouht against Premier Daniel Andrews. None of them know how to use technology and are not using their microphone.

They're absolutely losing their minds over the fact they thought it started at 9.30am (it's actually listed at 10am).

They're also taking over the chat:

Sovereignlaw: Is this a decoy? Where is the judge?

Debbie: Looks like a fake meeting to me. Set up just to piss people off.

Tracey Lucas: "Nice to see everyone. We all want the same thing. Dan Andrews and the government to go down."

The poor court staff are trying to shout at people to turn off their microphones. One of the group has declared tht it's not their job to turn off their own microphones and that the host should do it all at once.

Random user: You can't even kick someone out of an app properly. No wonder you fucked up a pandemic.

I'm confused? Do they think the premier is running the court hearing or that Myrtleford court staff have been secretly managing this pandemic?

Looks like there's a few hundred people logged in. A few have their videos on and are waving to eachother. Do they know the restrictions have eased and they can meet up in person? Might be easier than catching up in an online court hearing.

They're also bitching and moaning about the cnostant beeping sound, you know, the one you get wen someone joins a webex hearing. They're complaining about how many of them are joining the meeting.

"It's a good problem to have," says one person who has finally caught on.

"Can the host please mute everyone and give us an update on when we can expect it to start. Over."

Someone thinks the noise is sabotage. Another thinks it's PacMan.

Someone has claimed the presenter role and posted a screenshot showing people how to mute.

Jacob Stojcevski: "If someone wants to try and click on the dots and reclaim the host role give that a go."

Someone called "Nahtan" has asked for someone to record it and post it on telegram. That's illegal but I have no doubt it'll happen.

What's beyond chaos? Becuase that's where we're at.

Someone else has taken over the presenter role and posted this picture. It's causing division again.

There's talk that someone was arrested outside the court. Someone says "maybe they shot him". Real charming bunch of people.

The meeting link has just cut out.

I've logged back in and am waiting for the host to admit me. I'll keep you all posted when I'm back in.

In the meantime, I'm going over to cover an incredibly sad story in the Supreme Court.

Major issue with this morning is that theres not a separate link for Daniel Andrews.

"Seriously, this is a joke. Some of us are here for legitimate court cases and are being held up by all of you and the palava you are creating. Find another focus and move on."

#Breaking "Please be advised the matter of A Herman v Daniel Andrews was struck-out in the Myrtleford Magistrates’ Court this morning."

A few people have asked why it was struck out. The order isued by the magistrate says "charge issued not served". Charges have to be served on a person before a court proceeding can actually begin - if you don't, there's nothing to actually begin.
