As the saying goes, when a news piece is written about you, you finally realize without a doubt how full of shit the news is. Similarly, when you make movies you learn how full of shit a lot of bad reviews are. I will be breaking down the following review of RAMEKINS: RAMEKIN II:

'I saw this recently through another who had bought it'
This starts out on the defensive because I have accurately pointed out that the same BS complaints are made in the same way across multiple 1-star reviews / fake names—meaning the same idiot writing them with fake accounts.

The intent on the troll's part is to manufacture the existence of seemingly indisputable 'flaws' with the film, because *SO* many people are complaining about it (one idiot, multiple accts). For instance that 'eyelines are wrong'—this is patently untrue.

A complaint such as that the 'eyelines are wrong' seems to untrained eyes reading the review like a keen observation, since it sounds like something a person who knows about film would notice—the reviewer is elevated in status. But it's false, a total fabrication.

In film, there is what's known as a 180 rule—as long as you don't cross the plane so to speak, things match. I wont get into boring details, but the point is, every single shot in the film satisfies this, and every eye line is correct.

A further tell that this person doesn't know what they're talking about is their insistance that 'basic cutting' shouldn't happen. This is perhaps the single dumbest complaint ever about a movie—virtually every movie employs 'basic cutting', as it *IS* visual storytelling.

Cutting back and forth between people talking. Cutting to what a person is looking at. Etcetera. This is what is being complained about, in this 1-star review. My film is terrible because the natural logic used in filmmaking for the last 100 years is employed by me. Insanity.

Next complaint: me *EnDLeSsLy* putting myself in situations where I awkwardly kiss someone. Troll asks 'why'—well the art is supposed to cause that question! Figure it the fuck out! HINT: if you think it's that I get off on it, you're a moron.

Troll then goes on to be sexist, complaining about a female character in 2021 consciously choosing to keep her little bit of hair above her lip, and GASP, being kissed by a man who doesnt mind it. Grow up. You felt awkward—great! I anticipated every feeling possible to it.

Troll apparently 'turned off the film' at that point, which is troll liespeak for WATCHED THE FIRST 20 MINUTES ON FUCKING YOUTUBE! Caught ya! You didn't 'stop watching'—you, like your other accounts, only make complaints about the portion of the film that is freely distributed.

Gonna bring it back to the initial troll complaint, that theyve watched many films through the years and that Ive regressed. This is concern trolling, coming off like a fan disappointed. But due to the tells shown in the review, I know who this troll is. They 1-star all my films.

Only 'regression' is that RAMEKINS: RAMEKIN II, my ninth film, is done in the same exact style as RAMEKIN, my third film. All my sequels are stylistically the same. If I didn't do that, I'm sure people would complain that the styles jump. You literally cannot win with trolls.

I can break down EVERY SINGLE 1-star review I've ever gotten for my films, and show how fucking stupid they are—mostly because a lot of them are secretly the same idiotic person! That'd be too time consuming though, so just use what you've learned from this one. Fuck trolls.
