π€ Starting A Business π
- Build a Great Website for Your Company
Whenever you want to find out more about a company and its product/services, you go for their website.
Having a great website is essential for your business, and it is surprising how many of them still suck!
π
Here are some tips for building a great company website:
Potential investors, customers, and partners are going to check out your site, and you want to impress them with a professional product.
π‘ Check out competitor sites.
π‘ Start by sketching out a template for your site.
π‘ Come up with five or six sites you can share with your website developer / or your intern ;) to convey what you like.
π‘ Be sure the site is search engine optimized (and thus more likely to show up early on Google search results - ever been to page 3?).
π‘ Produce high-quality original content.
π‘ Make sure your site is optimized for mobile devices.
π‘ Make sure the site loads quickly.
π‘ Keep it clean and simple; visual clutter will drive visitors away.
π‘ Make sure you have a Terms of Use Agreement and Privacy Policy (and comply with the European GDPR rules).
π‘ Make the navigation bars prominent.
π‘ Obtain and use a memorable domain name.
π‘ Make the site visually interesting.
π‘ Make sure itβs easy for site visitors to contact you or buy your product.
What else to keep in mind??

They provide data enthusiasts with data pipelines for worldwide scaled data on high-resolution demographics, popular times data, and POI data.
Lidar with Velocity:
Motion Distortion Correction of Point Clouds
from Oscillating Scanning Lidars
In this paper, Gaussian-based lidar and camera fusion is proposed to estimate the full velocity and correct the lidar distortion.
Lidar point cloud distortion from moving object is an important problem in autonomous driving, and recently becomes even more demanding with the emerging of newer lidars, which feature back-and-forth scanning patterns.
Accurately estimating moving object velocity would not only provide a tracking capability but also correct the point cloud distortion with more accurate description of the moving object.
