@20committee Little attention is being paid to Paul Manafort's China links. In late July 2017, around the time the FBI raided Manafort's home in VA, he attended a meeting at the NY office of an architecture firm with client Yan Jiehe, billionaire owner, Pacific Construction Group

Paul Manafort is an adviser to Chinese billionaire Yan Jiehe on gaining access to lucrative infrastructure projects in the U.S. according to the Financial Times. Yan is the founder of China Pacific Construction Group (CPCG) and one of the wealthiest men in China.
Manafort met with Yan in Shanghai on April 11, 2017, according to the FT, and was described by Yan as “Trump’s special envoy.” According to the CPCG website (March 8, 2017 archive), Manafort met previously with Yan in Beijing on March 5 - 7 2017.
Manafort with Yan Jiehe in Beijing, March 5, 2017.
"The meeting is reported in detail also by Jingsun Group, an infrastructure company associated with Yan that hosted the event. This previous meeting is not included in the Financial Times report, and until now seems to have escaped U.S. media attention."
"Yan has a reputation as a maverick and claims to keep a distance from the CCP. He is a former local government official and frequently appears alongside current party officials on Chinese government and state-run media websites."
"No one does business in China as successfully as Yan without having a cozy relationship with the Communist Party."
Present with Manafort ("Trump's envoy") at a meeting in Beijing in March 2017 was Jiang Zedong (姜泽栋), chairman and Communist Party secretary of the Northern Design and Research Institute (北方设计研究院), a part of China’s state-owned defense industry.
Also at the meeting was Chen Shiping, GM of state-owned China Railway International Group, a major player in China’s “going out” strategy. Has operations throughout Asia, Africa, and LatAm. AKA CREC, acronym of predecessor and parent company China Railway Engineering Corporation.
Another person present at a China meeting with Manafort was Moldovan entrepreneur Ruslan Birladeanu from Chisinau. His most recent directorship was Stars Save Lives Limited, a UK company, with Daniel Alves Da Silva, a Brazilian footballer from Bristol. …te.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/129571….
@RealBristolNews Bristol - Brazil - Moldova - Manafort - China...also Barcelona. Daniel Alves Da Silva plays for La Liga club Barcelona and the Brazil national team. Probably a figurehead for the real "players" behind the company.

"Chinese investments represent a macroeconomic opportunity for Moldova, as Beijing succeeds where the EU and Russia have failed due to geopolitical confrontation," Michael Lambert, a researcher at the Sorbonne in Paris, told DW.
In March 2017, Manafort was being intro'd as Trump's envoy at meetings in Beijing. Present at the meetings, along with Manafort's client, billionaire, Yan Jiehe, were CCP operatives and Ruslan Birladeanu, a Moldovan entrepreneur with interests in, among other things, agriculture.
*Mind skips to Vlad Plahotniuc, a powerful Moldovan oligarch and political figure for whom Richard Grenell used to do consulting work.
He handled inquiries from Members of Congress and their offices regarding security, access control for entry to the House complex, and joint activities with the US Capitol Police to facilitate legislative branch activities. He also worked with other LE agencies and the military.
He might not be the only consumer of child pornography in The Capitol. He was a long-serving, trusted officer who received an award for service excellence. congress.gov/congressional-…

Will Tom Barrack walk away from a $250 million bond? He must wear a tracker and his travel has been restricted to Southern Cali and NY. He's accused of using his proximity to the WH to lobby for the UAE without disclosing his role as required to the DOJ. variety.com/2021/tv/news/t…
Barrack provided $5 M cash and 21 M shares of the company he founded, now called DigitalBridge (DB). Son, Thomas Barrack III, ex-wife Rachelle, and Jonathan Grunzweig, a DB exec, signed over their residences. His lawyers promised to relinquish Barrack’s US and Lebanese passports.
During Barrack's short stay in jail, he resigned from the boards of USC, First Republic Bank and DigitalBridge. As part of the terms of his release, the magistrate prohibited Barrack from having contact with Emirati or Saudi officials.
