Since many are interested in testing for #microclots, I will try to describe the process in this thread. I am not a medical professional and I have extremely limited medical knowledge. So whatever I write in this thread is not like a Bible for microclot testing. Adding #Teamclots
Finding the right lab facility

Finding one such lab is as easy as finding a mosquito in your house(don't blame me if your house doesnt have mosquitos). Any lab that offer tests like fibrinogen, d-dimer, Prothrombin time, APTT etc can get this microclot test done.
If you dont have any of the below ingredients(sorry to make it sound like a food recipe), keep trying till you find a lab with one. Sodium citrate blue top tube, centrifuge and light microscope(sufficient).
Fluorescent microscope is not required. If you have access to it, then the procedure is in the picture obtained from Professor @resiapretorius paper mdpi.com/2077-0383/10/2…
Testing for microclots is really simple. Thanks to Professor @resiapretorius and #Teamclots for such simple procedure.
Process
1. Draw your blood either via syringe and transfer to sodium citrate blue top tube or capture directly in sodium citrate blue top tube.
2.Put the tube in the centifuge machine with configuration of 15 minutes centrifuging at 3000rpm. Dont ask me why this configuration. Just follow.
To see how the process unfolds, watch this youtube video

And this video is just for layman reference only.
Post centrifuge the blood sample in the tube looks like
3. Obtain a small droplet(Platelet Poor Plasma) and smear across glass slide. Coverslip (thin transparent one).

This video is to help you with knowing the components like what is glass slide, coverslip etc. if you have not seen before
4. Examine under light microscope zoomed at 40x. Look for broken glass crystals like stuff(microclots). Refer to the image in this tweet
Once again your lab technician understands this process even in their dreams. Speak to a lab and get tested safely. Not recommended to be done at home. PEM kicked in. Signing off.
Important thing to mention is I didn't do it on my own. I had lab and technicians who were compassionate enough to help me with the process. They did the entire process and I just viewed the sample under microscope. And I now have a doctor who is willing to listen to me.

I was able to follow the procedure from Professor @resiapretorius paper to test for #Microclots and this is what I found. #Teamclots could you confirm if this the bio marker? I will add a video of it in this thread.
Microscope I used didn't have camera capability to capture so I used my phone to capture it.
The lab folks had a very hard time drawing blood from from me. Finally with much effort they were able to extract the much needed 4ml.
