@cyclonebrain It's a work in progress over here... I try to tap into their own motivation for keeping stuff more tidy. I do a lot of highlighting and noticing where I put a positive microscope on all the benefits of staying organized and I blowup the downsides of NOT doing it a bit.
@cyclonebrain I try to do the latter in a light and friendly way. My dad sometimes became actively NASTY and i do not want that experience for them. We implemented pre-sorting laundry baskets recently, because they were working well for me.
@cyclonebrain I sometimes do a sweep of the shared spaces and just put all their stuff in a basket for them to take back to their room and organize there. I am also open and honest that it's hard for me to model keeping my space organized for them.
@cyclonebrain Because I'm currently overwhelmed by keeping shared spaces organized against the current of our joined EF challenges. But I'd rather spend my time and energy teaching them to do better. And we sometimes join in doing sprints together each in our own space...
@cyclonebrain ...and taking fun breaks together after each pomodoro and marveling over each other's progress and how good it feels to have stuff neat and clean....
@cyclonebrain Whatever I try my main goals is not to give up on them ever. They can learn to do this. It may be harder, or take longer. But they can learn. And they are allowed to define what "mess" works for them and what mess is bugging them. And I can set my own boundaries
@cyclonebrain My parents actively said they were giving up on me around this topic. They threw their hands in the air & closed the door on my mess because they were too overwhelmed dealing with their own. And that hurt. Because I was already in overwhelm. But now there was NO HOPE.

It seems they have been at this for a while...
The commission schedule they offer on their website is as slippery as an oiled snake publicgift.goaffpro.com/program-detail… The table they refer to is not present and the "important note" boils down to: we'll pay you a commission if we feel like it!
@3TrackMind79 becoming curious if you've seen them active on TikTok too?

Has anybody had any experiences with a brand called public gift publicgift.com I feel like I'm being stalked by their brand ambassadors on Instagram to also become an ambassador & I feel quite convinced my complaint about it just got handled by a bot. #askingAutistics
They also did not answer any of my questions about how much of their revenue is being donated to the causes they support. Would appreciate info from any one with more information or personal experience with this org
