1] Just finished reading this anger runt by @ProfJNMoyo which absolutely doesn't read like the opinion of a political scientist.

An unnecessary disclaimer:
I'm tweeting a personal response, not on behalf of any institution nor individual.

Here's my personal view....
2] Let's start perhaps with what the long thread ignored

Over the past few days, even if one ignored the genesis of this 'twar', Prof JN & his peers have been throwing all sorts of vitro & character assignation against WaMagaisa's person.

Prof decided to ignore this completely.
3] Prof's thread equally ignores that actual issues raises in response to his 'advice'.

Some felt he disqualified himself from having an opinion on how the funds are to be used by blueticking the initiative.

Others queried the legality of diverting funds raised through gofund.
4] It would have been more sensible for Prof to attend to those two issues instead of ignoring them completely, & focusing instead on being seen as a victim of some MDC-A cult mentality.

It's disingenuous for Prof to totally ignore addressing why he claims he's being attacked.
5] I now turn to what Prof actually says..

Conveniently, Prof calls the citizens' Gofund program a 'MDC-A initiative which exposes lack of priorities by the party'

Prof even draws false equivalences in a bid to expose a non existent 'insensitivity' by the MDC-A leadership.
6] Secondly, the thread is full of gaslighting

Prof shows a desperation to highlight any conversation with any twimbo, including ghosts, as official MDC-A positions on any matters

The intended consequence is to justify his inability to stomach alternative ideas & superior logic
7] I find it mind-boggling, how a man who's desperate to be seen in new light, has no problem resorting to his default mode of labelling, belittling & using social sanctions to attack perceived opponents

It reminds some of his days in power, except that he now whispers in the wind
8] Thirdly, Prof persists with this narrative that people should feel sorry for their predicament as "G40"

That narrative is founded on a warped logic that wanachi somehow misses Mugabe because of clueless Munhumutapa.

The narrative attempts at focusing people on ED the person.
9] Zimbabweans have, unfortunately for G40 aligned people, now fully understood that what's wrong with ZanuPF is ZanuPF.

After focusing on RGM, it would be silly to focus on ED.

Any sort of alliances that might have developed before, were aimed at the ultimate demise of ZanuPF
10] This attempt by Prof, at having wanachi focus on 'the power behind RG', rightfully being ED, misleadingly leaves us focusing on Mugabe's politics only

Many things went wrong, including draconian legislature, state capture, climpdown on rights, policy inconsistency, corruption
11] If for instance one rightfully observed that beyond the violence, the train went off the rails because of many others issues including disrupting MDC run councils, land theft, media capture, propaganda, corruption, wouldn't you see how these G40s played a role on the same?
12] Prof informs wanachi, of his decision to formally retract a previous offer to train MDC-A 2023 polling agents.

It would seem like his frustrations emanate from his disillusionment with the wanachi he calls "cultic"

You would expect Professors to have emotional intelligence
13] As a 'scientist', Prof should have long observed that the G40 collective is still angling towards 'reclaiming & reforming ZanuPF.

When one of their own then makes overtures at 'assisting' an opponent which his peers always insults, the citizens inevitably become cautious.
14] The citizens' fears aren't allayed by patronising 'scientific opinions' that citizens won't be mobilized under #NgaapindeHakeMukomana when it was a citizens' mantra to begin with

Prof once again attempts 2 'fault' the MDC-A leadership over a slogan they didn't even introduce
15] Imagine having a whole adult writing a long thread full of lies and half-truths.

A scientist who once claimed he would "die for Mugabe" & had us tweeting "#KwekweHim" in 2018 now saying the citizens' #NgaapindeHakeMukomana mantra, permiating even the countryside is cultic.
16] Its important to resist being left internally focused by Prof's dishonest & hypocrisy.

Thankfully, citizens have developed an 'ownership attitude' over their struggle & are converging for change & will fund their movement to the detriment of fake "superhumans".

enkosi!!

1] When a whole Chief admits that he has had to swap jackets & vigorously campaign for his muzukuru, ED, & ZanuPF, then know he's part of the problem.

Chief simply need to maintain their identity as traditional leaders, and use that authority to lead their communities.
2] As long as Chiefs allow themselves to be entangled in partty politics, those actually occupying higher posts within those political institutions, will treat them as subordinates.

Chiwenga clearly spoke like he was reprimanding his party's self-proclaimed Provincial Commissar.
3] Individually & collectively, Chiefs needs to start conversations on how to reclaim their autonomy & identity.

They equally need not treat elected leaders as their equals, for their sources of authority are different.

They are Chiefs, ED is not a King.

1] Here's a hypothetical question:

Wasn't Sen Komichi & Mwonzora with Dr MRT, when he was taken to court over the appointment of Mudzuri & Adv Chamisa?

What then does he mean when he says: "we worked tirelessly for that judgement", which went against their party & ex leader?
2] another hypothetical question:

How often have we heard DM & Komichi claim they campaigned vigorously for Nero?

Does it make sense, in relation to their admission that they were plotting against Nero, since the 2018 Nat Council Komichi chaired, which made him their candidate?
3] another hypothetical question:

How does a respondent "work tirelessly" for a Supreme Court judgement which they loose, whilst holding a prepared speech accepting and celebrating the judgement?

What was the role of Mwonzora,Komichi et al, in the court application, & outcome?

1] @BitiTendai:

"Mtuli Ncube's budget was one of the most dishonest budgets ever presented. It was technically unsound & doesn't meet the test for credibility. This was a man just going through a ritualistic formality since Sec 302 of the Con demands he goes through the process"
2] @BitiTendai

"Mtuli Ncube presented a ZW $900 billion budget using an exchange rate of 1:105, the official exchange rather on the day he presented the budget, on the 27th of November 2021. It is a USD $8.7 billion budget. This economy can't collect USD $8.7 billion"
3] @BitiTendai:

"you can't collect USD $8.7 billion in an economy where more than 90% of our people are unemployed; where more than 70% are in the informal sector; where according to the World Bank & other sources, 50%/70% of our people are living in extreme poverty"

1] Nothing screams incompetence, & exposes the leadership kwashioker in Harare, more than these PR stunts being pulled by ZanuPF, in their fight over the sanctions.

Outside these optics, this so called "UN Special Rapporteur" is just another European on holiday in Zimbabwe.
2] From the get-go, ZanuPF has never been interested in having an honest conversation over sanctions, with anyone.

After years of blaming Tsvangirai, they moved to Mugabe, now their it's all on Chamisa

How/Why then should ZanuPF be seen as being sincere?

#NgaapindeHakeMukomana
3] But perhaps more concerning, or is it embarrassing, is how ZanuPF is prepared to talk to anyone, except the countries they blame for imposition of sanctions.

Its embarrassing how Mnangagwa enjoys hiding behind fatigued politicians & international crooks in his sanctions fight

1] Took time to go through details of the reinstatement of @mdczimbabwe VP, @BitiTendai & other ex PDP MPs to Parliament.

The Judge makes interesting observations, particularly the frivolous nature of how certain individual are abusing the recall clause.

#NgaapindeHakeMukomana
2] The Judge reasons, rightfully so, that by the 2018 elections, there were two distinct PDPs.

In doing so, the Judge recognizes the right of association, by the Biti led PDP faction, to belong wherever, without being entangled in some supposed "one PDP" under any individual(s).
3] The judge makes another determination, on how frivolous it would be, for individuals who went to the 2018 election under "rainbow coalition", as did Matibenga & team, to now claim ownership over MPs elected under MDC-A.

He calls the imposter PDP Secretary & team, "cuckoos".

1] @nelsonchamisa:

"The future is very bright, exciting & solid because we have a solid, hardworking, peaceful & committed people who are conscious about their Great country. A country if supported by all our efforts as a people on account of our co-competencies, would do well"
2] @nelsonchamisa:

"I see Zimbabwe as the Switzerland of Africa if not better. Not just for Africa, but for the whole world. The prospects are very high. Where we are is a bit difficult on account of a deficit of Leadership."
3] @nelsonchamisa:

"We have everything we need in this country, from natural resources; human resources; character and content of our populace. All the thing we have are very good, including the climate. The only thing we dont have, and need to correct, is the Leadership"
