1. Less hospital admission in South Africa
2. Also 3X less likely in Denmark, but with a skew towards younger people testing positive
Also of note is the higher vaccinated proportion with Omicron in Denmark than was the case with Delta and prior variants
Also Scotland data shows the same pattern

New analysis today by @ImperialCollege to look at reduced risk of 40-45% for Omicron associated hospitalizations, also reinforcing the point on the markedly increased dominator of increased infections

The new boosters (vs. KP.2) should be available the first week of September. It takes ~90 days make them from the FDA decision on June.

But the FDA has tried to force fit Covid into an annual shot like flu, even though all data tells us it doesn't follow an annual pattern. Even the CDC acknowledges this now
