BUT had a high-risk exposure or have symptoms of COVID
➡️get a PCR test

The vaccines are excellent at preventing severe disease, hospitalization, & death.

- 3+ billion Omicron infections over the next 3 months globally
- % asymptomatic infections will go from 40% to 90% (many will be missed)
- infection fatality rate 97-99% lower for Omicron than Delta
2/ If the @IHME_UW model is accurate, the US will likely hit at least 2000 COVID deaths/day, & possibly 3000 COVID deaths/day.

Last year, we peaked at ~3500 COVID deaths/day.
