I really want more folks to give #MechaAnime a shot. Mecha literally runs the gamut with regards to both genres and demographics.

Mecha isn't all just Giant Shooty Robots, militaristic...
bloodshed and political intrigue. It is so much more than that and dismissing it as such, like most of the current generation of neophyte Anime Fans, not only does the genre a disservice, but also yourself and the rest of fandom.
