When the woke rail against “whiteness”, they are railing against the rule of the most WASPified 2nd through fourth Gen Italians, Irish, Jews, Greeks, Slavs, and Poles
*the ones who scored highest on the SAT
The test was the instrument for picking from the various European ethnicities for incorporation into an Ivy League superclass — but concurrently to the project of black-white integration
So what was an on-ramp for non-WASP Europeans was a barrier for blacks, as a population recently segregated was suddenly exposed to competition from 2nd Gen immigrant populations. Thus the need for affirmative action.
Those European immigrant populations were already out scoring the WASP population on standardized tests and other measures of academic achievement and came to outnumber them in the superclass. The recent formation is the “meritocracy.”

Omicron makes it so that there is no longer a pro-social purpose to taking a vaccine or booster. Vaccines do not prevent transmission of Omicron and thus do not protect anyone else.
What they do is protect *you* from serious illness.
Sure, the data will show some difference based on vaccine and boosted status.
As a practical matter, whoever isn't isolating will get Omicron. That's what my various social networks are all telling me -- and I think what most of everyone's social networks are telling them.
If you are vaccinated and boosted it will just be a cold.
Thus Chappelle saying "Gender is a fact" (his own slightly off-kilter way of saying "sex is real") makes him the New Black Face of White Supremacy (read more about it my book "Sex Is Not Real: The Racist History of the Male/Female Binary")
I absorbed all the progressive conditioning and the facility for continually updating it with the latest patches.
I know the acute sense of peril one feels when stating a range of indisputable truths because I feel it myself.
But because I see the dangers that the progressive echo chamber is generating, I feel obliged to fight through that sense of peril.
But it never comes *easily* to me as it does to certain tougher, more disagreeable, more obstreperously male figures than myself, who are happiest when embroiled in contention.
It's not about whether it's wrong or right on the merits. It's about what you are conditioned by default to believe.
Blah blah blah: Zinn-ism broadly conceived is the foundation from which all the social networks and changes in news coverage spring and the mainstreaming of that discourse _in the schools_ as part of the baseline understanding for sure tracks the marked generational decline
