A total of about 2 million books at the BookXcess warehouse were disposed of due to floods last week in Shah Alam, 27 December 2021.
Workers are also sorting out damaged books and cleaning up the affected area.
According to Andrew Yap founder of BookXcess and Big Bad Wolf Books, this work may take at least a week to a month.

2 hari lepas aku ada buat tinjauan ke Kampung Asahan, Bestari Jaya. Sebahagian tempat di sini masih belum surut air walaupun dah seminggu sejak mula banjir. Kampung Asahan ni betul-betul sebelah Sungai Selangor.

There is nothing I can contribute except by capture moments of the flood situation in Taman Sri Muda for all of us to take as a lesson for the future. For all of us to remember about today, and make the best decisions for tomorrow.

Sejak aku guna Leica ni, banyak juga komen yang aku nampak contohnya “Pehh pakai Leica patut gambar lawa”.
Actually camera is just a medium untuk kau hasilkan work kau.
Jadi sempena #WorldPhotographyDay ni, aku nak tunjuk work yang aku hasilkan guna berbagai jenis kamera lain.
So aku mulakan lah dengan Leica M240. Aku dah gunakan kamera ni untuk beberapa assignment slow pace, but assignment najib haritu memang fast pace, kalau kau dah mahir dengan manual focusing and setting exposure, then it should be okay.
My favourite photo of all time. Pacquiao vs Matthysse. Yang ini aku gunakan Nikon D3S dan 24-70mm. Untuk sports photo ni knowledge yang penting adalah cropping and know the sports itself so boleh capture moment yang terbaik.
