(2) both former board members of Stand News - Ng is a veteran Civic Party member - deputy assignment editor Ronson Chan, who chairs the HK Journalists Association, was taken for questioning- his home was searched over the crime of “publishing seditious publications” with a court
(3) warrant - the arrests were carried out under under the Crime Ordinance (not the new national security law) covering conspiracy to print or distribute seditious materials - this section was enacted during British colonial rule
(12) of course mainstream Western media would jump at the chance to paint this as "media suppression" by the HK Govt while they wouldn't care about Julian Assange
(14) Hong Kong national security police held a press conference at 4pm local time to explain the arrests, & revealed that company assets worth HK$61 million of the online news outlet Stand News had been frozen

(21) Tony Tsoi Tung-ho 蔡東豪 is now wanted by the Hong Kong police for publishing seditious material, as 7 others were arrested earlier today on suspicion of related seditious offenses - Tony Tsoi founded the online media outlet, Stand News, which shut down today - he also
(22) founded House News (which closed several years ago) during the 2014 Occupy Central Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong - he is rumoured to have fled to Australia
