In the Hindu way of life, this prayer is adopted while sitting on the bed at the time of waking up in the morning:

कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मिः करमध्ये सरस्वति।
करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ॥

And how many Hindus really follow this ?

The meaning is very simple: knowledge, power and wealth depend on the work with your hand.

कराग्रे = in the front of the hand i.e. fingers; वसते = lives;

लक्ष्मी = the divinity of prosperity (material and spiritual) [from the word lakShya = goal];

कर-मध्ये सरस्वती = in the middle of the palm; lives the divinity of learning, knowledge;

कर-मूले तू गोविंद: = in the wrist lives the universal guide of righteousness - Krishna.

प्रभाते कर दर्शनम = Every morning ones should looked at all these divine personalities...

Daitya Sudan Temple is located near the Lonar crater – the world’s only salt water lake in basaltic rock, believed to have been caused by a meteorite hitting Earth around 52, 000 years ago.

It is surrounded by forests with a large variety of birds, particularly peacocks, owls, red-wattled Lapwings and ducks. A number of temples surround the lake, most of which stand in ruins today.

According to local belief, Lonar derives its name from the demon Lonasura (also called Lavansura). This demon used to harass and trouble the local people so much that Bhagwan Vishnu descended on earth to vanquish him.

Located in the national capital of New Delhi, the Lotus Temple is an edifice dedicated to the Baha'i faith. The magnificent structure of this building unfolds in the form of a stupendous white petal lotus and is one of the most visited establishments in the world.

The design of this shrine was conceptualized by Canadian architect Fariborz Sahba and was completed in the year 1986. This temple seeks to propagate the oneness of the Almighty and is open to all regardless of their nationality, religion, race or gender.

The Lotus temple is one of the seven Baha'i House of Worship present around the world.
As you enter the complex of the temple, you encounter an enchanting entrance gate, beautiful floral gardens and scintillating pools.

Ganesh devotees chant Ganpati Bappa Morya during Ganesh Puja. But, do you know what’s the significance of this chant? Why we chant Ganpati Bappa Morya?

Ganesha is also known as Ganpati.

The word Ganpati is a combination of 2 words – “Gana” which means ‘group’ or also ‘the attendants of Bhagwan Shiv’ and “Pati” which means the ‘ruler’ or ‘leader’. Hence “Ganpati” means “ruler of many” or ‘leader of the ganas of Shiv.’
‘Bappa’ means ‘father’.

But what is the reason of putting 'Morya' after 'Ganapati Bappa'.
There was a great devotee of Sri Ganesh in the 14th century by the name Morya Gosavi. He was originally from village called Shaligram in Karnataka where his devotion was looked upon as madness.

Rani Bhabani was the Queen of Natore, Bengal or 'Natorer Rani' as she was famously called. She made great contributions in Tarapith & renovated Benaras.

In Varanasi, Durga Kund Mandir was constructed by Rani Bhabani in the 18th century.

Born in Chhatimgram village, Bogra District,Her father's name was Atmaram Choudhury.Bhabani was married off to Raja Ramkanta Moitra,the then zamindar of Rajshahi.After his death, Bhabani became the zamindar, and started being referred to as Rani.She was known as Ardhabangeshwari.

A woman as a zamindar was extremely rare in those days, but Rani Bhabani managed the vast Rajshahi zamindari most efficiently and effectively for over four decades.
Maharani Bhavani was very pious in her personal life. She passed her life in a strict disciplined way.

-मान्यता है कि तुलसी के पौधे के पास किसी भी मंत्र-स्तोत्र का पाठ करने से उसका कई गुना फल मिलता है।

-भूत,प्रेत, पिशाच, ब्रह्मराक्षस,दैत्य आदि सब तुलसी के पौधे से दूर भागते हैं।

-पद्मपुराण के अनुसार तुलसी पत्ते से टपकता हुआ जल यदि मनुष्य अपने सिर पर लगाता है तो इतना करने भर से उस मनुष्य को गंगास्नान और 10 गोदान का फल मिल जाता है।
