Mahishi was the sister of a demon named Mahishasura. In her previous life, she was a woman named Leelavati, the wife of Dattathreya, an incarnation of the three gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Due to her mistakes, she was cursed by Dattathreya to be reborn as Mahishi, the sister of Mahishasura.

⚜️1. Strangest of all, the Flag atop Jagannath Dham Mandir always floats in the opposite direction of the wind .

⚜️2. The "Brahma Paddarth" inside the Idol of Bhagwan Jagannath is believed to be the Heart of Shri Krishna. As per the tradition, every 12 years a new Jagannath Idol is made and this "Brahma Paddarth" is placed in this new Idol in a sacred ceremony where electricity of whole puri town is shut down and the eyes of the pujaris who do this are blindfolded.

Brahmastra is considered the most powerful and destructive weapon ever created, attributed to Bhagwan Brahma, the creator of the Universe.

India's ancient history is rich with references to powerful and divine weapons, especially in epics like the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the Puranas. These weapons ranged from physical arms like bows and swords to divine astras (celestial weapons) invoked with mantras and granted by gods.

🌺।।Some incredible facts about Brahmastra।।🌺

⚜️1. As per the Shastras, a Brahmastra is an astra, or celestial weapon created by Bhagwan Brahma. It is sometimes known as the Brahma Astra. As described in a number of the Puranas, Brahmastra is considered to be the very deadliest of all weapons.

When a Brahmastra is discharged, neither a counterattack nor a defense of any kind can stop it. In ancient Sanskrit writings, the Brahmastra was a weapon created by Brahma, along with its more powerful versions like Brahmashira Astra and Brahmanda Astra. Brahmastra and Brahmashira Astra are said to be equivalent of modern day atomic weapons, nuclear and thermonuclear bombs respectively.

Beautiful love stories are one of the most important aspects of Mahabharata.

While some of these love stories that we are going to talk about might be popular, but many are still unknown to the most.

⚜️1. SRI KRISHNA AND RUKMINI

Though most of the stories tell the tale of how Krishna fell in love with Radha, the Vedas do not talk about Radha at all. Instead, it is mentioned that Krishna’s favorite was Rukmini, among his 7 other wives. The story is full of drama as he fell in love with Rukmini and abducted her against her parent’s will. Rukmini was also in love with Krishna, and they both married to live happy thereafter. Some consider Rukmini to be the incarnation of Goddess Laxmi.

⚜️2. ARJUNA AND ULOOPI

Arjuna had four wives, and among them, Uloopi was the second. They met when Arjun was in exile. But it is interesting how in this case Uloopi was the one who abducted Arjun and convinced him to get married. Ulupi was the Naga princess with a half-maiden and half-serpent body. Later, they even had a son named Iravan. Ulupi also granted Arjuna a boon that the water kingdom will obey him and that he will never be defeated underwater.
