प्रात:काल उठते ही सबसे पहले दोनों हथेलियों का दर्शन करते हुए यह श्लोक बोलना चाहिए–

एक बार गोकुल में माता यशोदा दूध को मथ कर माखन निकाल रही थी। उसी समय श्रीकृष्ण वहां आये और दूध पीने की जिद्द करने लगे।
