This YEAR in WPCs! Picking my favorite clips from each month

JANUARY: When I say this is all about the gospel vs. liberation theology, I'm just passing along these guys' message!
FEBRUARY: Some people think the SBC should have genuflected more to this guy. You can forever disregard those people.
MARCH: This one made a few headlines in the Christian news world...
APRIL: There's a 60% chance this bigot's book is on your church or Christian college's "racial reconciliation" reading list.
MAY: World Vision's "racial justice" course that I covered from the beginning of my work outed itself this month. Not only did Soong-Chan Rah reveal he was laundering the ideas of critical theorists, the course itself was cool with pagan syncretism
JUNE: A Zoom struggle session for the ages with staff from Calvin University and Kuyper College
JULY: I started mixing up my YouTube process to better avoid copyright complaints and also because I was noticing more and more the need to fact-check people within the videos themselves. This was one of the first WPCs in the new format:
AUGUST: Do NOT believe the hype about this guy. Every single time I finish one of his talks, I walk away with a shallower understanding of the Bible, not deeper.
SEPTEMBER: They can never be honest until after they've torn apart the flock.
OCTOBER: The inevitable end of "David raped Bathsheba" discourse is "Samuel violated her in the telling, as well" and "the Imago Dei means you are infinitely good"
NOVEMBER: You know it's ethno-narcissism when you feel the need to insert Donatus, an indefensible heretic, and some lady who claimed to be possessed by a saint who was equal to YHWH, into your theological "genealogy"
DECEMBER: It's an obvious pick, but you really can't beat it.
Thank you so much to everyone who has shared these, encouraged me, prayed for me, and sent tips (which uncovered a few of these).

Everyone worship God in spirit and truth this weekend, and stand firm in the grace of Jesus Christ this coming year!

If you are still comparing the current COVID shots to smallpox and polio vaccines instead of a flu shot in November 2021, you are bearing false witness against the 💉 hesitant. Full stop.
The actual assumption here is that variants are ONLY created in people who haven't gotten the shot

Highlights from the Jonathan Merritt sermon endorsed by his father. Mark 13 isn't about the judgment of God, it's about recognizing "nothing lasts forever."

"The grass withers, the flowers fade," and then we <snip> the part about the word of the Lord remaining forever.
Jesus foretelling the destruction of the temple = "Hating change won't delay or deter it. The future is always breaking into the present, and it never calls ahead to ask permission. So we need to learn to love the worlds in which we live and, when the time comes, to let them go."
Edits Mark 13:4 to reinforce his "don't fear change" theme: "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign that things are about to change?"

No English translation says "about to change," it's "be fulfilled" or "be accomplished," i.e. God's plans completed
