Am learning WordPress with the aim of starting a WordPress Web Development Business or landing a WordPress developer job by the end of this month, I will be sharing what I learn in this thread.

WordPress began as a blogging platform giving regular non-technical users the ability to publish content on the internet easily and quickly.

Consequently blogging became extremely popular very quickly to the point that it was and is now considered to be mainstream.

Blogging gave way to publishing all types of content on the internet freely and easily giving WordPress the upper hand in this market.

Over a period of time WordPress integrated tools and features needed to not only publish content and but also to create entire websites without needing a whole lot of technical expertise or understanding.

Currently Regular internet users all over the world are blogging frequently,
Fortune 500 businesses, New organizations and educational institution are using WordPress to publish content and some to create entire website on it.

And many more others.

You can easily check whether a website is WordPress or not on a website(isitwp.com) that analyzes a site URL and determines whether it is a WordPress site or not.

As a test let's recursive test the isItWp website and see if it is a WordPress website itself.

With over 65% of all the content management system market share, we can confidently say that WordPress has successfully cornered this market
