A thread on my favourite $FTM staking strategies in 2022. 🧵

I'll cover:
- How you can earn anywhere from 5-1000% APY in the Fantom ecosystem
- Different strategies for varying risk tolerances
- My personal staking strategy (Not FA)

2/ Want to know how to generate insane yield in the $FTM ecosystem? Well, you've come to the right place.

I'll cover 5 strategies:
1. @FantomFDN staking (5-14%)
2. @iearnfinance Vault (10.96%) Abracadabra (200%+)
3. Yield Farming
4. @tombfinance (1000%)
5. @LiquidDriver (120%)

3/ @FantomFDN staking (safest strategy for HODLers)

Stake your $FTM with a validator via @FantomFDN's fWallet and receive 4.5-13.8% APR.

The longer you lock, the higher the APR (depends how highly you need/value liquidity).

14-day lockup = 4.51%
1 year lockup = 13.81%

4/ If you value liquidity and the 4.51% doesn't interest you, @iearnfinance wFTM vault (10.96%) may be the answer.

1. Wrap your $FTM for $WFTM on @Spirit_Swap
2. Deposit WFTM into Yearn Vault.
3. Receive 10.96% and receive yvWFTM in exchange.

5/ These tokens unlock a very powerful Abracadabra strategy:

1. Take yvWFTM (interest bearing asset)
2. Deposit on Abra as collateral
3. Borrow MIM against yvWFTM (can use up to 5x leverage)
4. Use that MIM as you like (can deposit into LP for additional 100% APY).
5. Repeat

6/ This strategy is *safe*, but once you have MIM you can do with it what you like!

7/ Now you might be wondering what LPs are best on $FTM.. (Consider impermanent loss risk with stables).

There's so many, but @LiquidDriver is home to some of my favourites.

Stables:
1. FTM/fUSDT - 144%
2. FTM/USDC - 143%
3. MIM/FTM - 214%

8/ But.. We're after even juicier gains. I believe $SPIRIT will be one of the best performing $FTM ecosystem tokens in 2022 so..

1. lin/SPIRIT LP (85% APR) is a no brainer if you're bullish on @Spirit_Swap.
2. linSPIRIT staking via @LiquidDriver for 63% is also tasty.

9/ @LiquidDriver is changing the game in the $FTM eco. You can lock up your xLQDR for 110% APR.

Personally, I:

1. Lockup my xLQDR (110%)
2. Swap all rewards for linSPIRIT/SPIRIT
3. Compound LP in lin/SPIRIT pool for an additional 130% APY.

10/ BUT, there's so many strategies to play around with (goal dependant). Another example:

1. You can earn LQDR via LPing (100% APR)
2. Use those rewards to lockup xLQDR
3. Funnel xLQDR rewards (110%) back into the LP to earn more LQDR!
4. Rinse, repeat.

11/ Given the recent insane price growth of $LQDR, the above strategy may be more feasible if you don't already hold LQDR tokens. It enables you to build up your position over time whilst compounding rewards.

Powerful stuff.

12/ How could I not mention @tombfinance.

1. Create a FTM-TOMB LP on @SpookySwap
2. Stake FTM-TOMB on @tombfinance cemetery for 140% APR
3. Stake $TSHARE rewards in the masonry for 590% APR
4. Redeposit $TOMB rewards back into LP
5. Infinite money glitch unlocked ✅

13/ If you value convenience, @Reaper_Farm offers FTM-TOMB LP auto-compounding at 300% APY.

You don't get exposure to $TSHARE via this strategy, but it could be considered "safer" as you're primarily stacking FTM-TOMB LP.

14/ Remember, as enticing as these sound - all these strategies come with varying levels of risk.

Whether that's smart contract, de peg, or impermanent loss risk etc. Make sure to DYOR to determine what the risks are, and which strategies are suitable for your goals.
