Pakistan has confirmed the acquisition of Full Squadron of 25 FC-20E fighter jets, export variant of J-10C from China in Response to India's Rafale fighter jets
As Pakistanโs fifth-generation fighter jet program, Project Azm, hangs in balance and its present fleet of JF-17 does not look competitive enough to challenge Indian Rafales, the J-10C (FC-20E) becomes an obvious choice for Pakistan...
According reports, a Pakistani lawmaker Dr.Afnan Ullah Khan questioned the move to acquire the J-10C,saying that does not match upto Rafale jets made by French Dassault Aviation. Pakistan, which is struggling to sustain its economy, continues to procure defence equipment...
The J-10C is a single-engine, light multirole fighter that can fly in
all weather conditions. It was designed for the Peopleโs Liberation
Army Air Force to carry out strike and air-to-air combat operations.
The Rafale is a twin-engine fighter that can operate from either an
aircraft carrier or a land base. All combat aviation missions can be
carried out by Rafale, including air superiority & air defense, close
air support,in-depth strikes,reconnaissance,anti-ship strikes.
Rafale employs the SPECTRA electronic warfare system with RBE2 (AESA) Radar. J-10C uses AESA Radar developed indigenously by China.
Rafale has a better electronic warfare system, however, both are Delta Canard designs..There is little known about EW Suite of J-10C
Rafaleโs RBE2 (AESA) radar, along with the Meteor missile, gives it a notable
advantage in Beyond Visual Range (BVR) warfare.
For long range interception, the J-10C uses the PL-15 which is a
dual-stage BVRAAM with a 200+ km range.
The Rafale uses the Meteor, which is considered the best
Air-to-Air-Missile in the world. It uses a next-generation technology
called the ducted ramjet, which ensures a high range of 200
kilometers,it maintains the same kinetic energy throughout its flight
range.
The short-range missile of Rafale (MICA-IR) is generations ahead of
the PL-10(IR) missiles of the J-10C. The MICA-IR has an Imaging Infrared
(IIR) seeker has a much
higher range, off bore shoot capability,G tolerance and kill
probability.
The J-10C has an empty weight of 8,850 kg against Rafaleโs empty
weight of 9,850 kg
Rafale is a double engine aircraft, each engine providing a thrust of
75 Kilo-Newton whereas J-10C is a single engine aircraft with a thrust
of 62 Kilo-Newton.
The Rafale has a 20 percent greater thrust for just 11 percent higher
weight than the J-10C.Rafale is going to have a thrust-to-weight ratio far better than the J-10C which means better agility and higher energy which is the deciding factor within visual range (WVR) combat.
FC-20E or J-10C is not comparable to Rafales in both WVR and BVR.
J-10C Varient on which FC-20E based is powered by a Chinese-made WS-10
Taihang engine. However, it is not yet clear how reliable these
Chinese-built jet engines are.
Rafale has powerful SNECMA M 88 engines which gives a speed of 1.8
Mach or 1912 kmph which imparts excellent maneuverability to it
meaning you can go at very low height and still destroy the target and quickly withdraw.
The Rafale has a range of 3,700 km as compared to the 1,850 km that
the J-10C offers.
while the Rafale has a maximum speed of Mach 1.8 (1,912 km/h), the J-10C is Leading at Mach 2.1 (2,305 km/h)
One major difference between the two aircraft is that, Rafale has been
used in combat missions in Afghanistan,Libya, Mali, Iraq and Syria.
the J-10C has not faced any real combat situation. Thus, Rafale is not only a battle-tested but also battle-hardened fighter aircraft.
On numerous occasions, Pakistan-based defence experts have raised the issues of receiving inferior quality of combat fighter aircrafts and armed drones from China. On paper, Rafale clearly holds an edge, but
no one can speculate what will happen when they come face to face.
The ๐ฎ๐ณ #IndianAirForce is all set to receive its first batch of โ๏ธ Tejas Mk1A fighters this month, a superior version of the indigenous LCA Tejas.
What's new in โ๏ธ Tejas Mk1A ??
43 Improvements across Avionics, Weapons & Maintenance!
Small #Thread ๐งต #TejasMk1A
(1/11)
Some of the improvements are as following :
๐ธRadar : Tejas Mk1A will have state-of-the-art AESA radar, superior to ๐ฎ๐ฑIsraeli EL/M-2032 radar of Tejas Mk1.
The first batch will have ๐ฎ๐ฑIsraeli EL/M-2052 AESA radar, while the rest will have indigenous "Uttam" AESA radar.
(2/11)
๐ธSelf Protection Jammer :
Tejas Mk1A will overcome the limitation of Tejas Mk1, which lacked a Self Protection Jammer to counter enemy missiles.
Tejas Mk1A will carry the ๐ฎ๐ฑIsraeli ELL-8222 jammer pod, which will disrupt the radar signals of BVR or SAM missiles.
With cities across the country grappling with flooding issues, perhaps Tokyo's flood tunnel could hold the key to a solution.

Flooding wreaks havoc in many Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai. As we search for effective solutions,The Tokyo flood tunnel, officially known as the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel(MAOUDC) offers valuable inspiration for tackling these challenges.

Tokyo is one of the world's most densely populated cities, receives an average annual rainfall of 1600mm. Tokyo's Flood Tunnel is a massive underground system designed to mitigate flooding during heavy rains.
In March 1963, the first batch of MiG-21 arrived in India. Over the past 60 years, the aircraft, including all variants flown by the IAF, have been part of various operations, including the 1971 Indo-Pak War, 1999 Kargil war and the most recent air duel after the Balakot airstrike
The Indian Air Force force has operated about 872 MiG-21 fighters since the time they were first inducted in the 1963.
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited licence-produced 657 of these jets. Over the years, avionics, missiles and radars were upgraded with newer versions.
Several countries, most notably US & Israel are actively working to developing small, short-range drones that could operate in swarms. In the event of a war, these drones would utilize Artificial Intelligence to work together to attack targets.

These Portable loitering munitions aka Kamikaze drones would be packed with explosives and used as suicide drones. Upon approaching their targets, these drones would explode destroying or disabling their targets. They are already changing warfare in Armenia, Ukraine and Syria.

Hypersonic Technology Demonstrator Vehicle (HSTDV) is developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and is based on hypersonic propulsion technologies,This Vehicle was designed to test the vehicle performance of a scramjet engine.
The vehicle also was intended to test the associated technologies such as aerodynamic design and aero-thermal design, materials, and hot structures at those insane speeds. The HSTDV has an air-breathing scramjet engine which means that it uses atmospheric Oxygen for propulsion.
The HSTDV cruise vehicle is mounted on a solid rocket motor, which takes it to a required altitude. Once it attains certain Mach numbers for speed, the cruise vehicle is ejected out of the launch vehicle. After that, the scramjet engine is ignited automatically.
The crash of the Indian Air Forceโs MiG-21 Bison fighter jet has once again aroused furious reactions from netizens and called the government for retiring the Soviet-era jets.
There is a growing outcry for replacing the MiG-21 jets, which have been the backbone of the Indian Air Force.ย The Indian Air Force force has operated about 872 MiG-21 fighters since the time they were first inducted in the 1960s.
since its induction into the Indian Air Force (IAF) in 1963, as many as 400 MiG-21s had been involved in accidents leading to the death of 171 pilots, 39 civilians and eight personnel from other services...
