From 1963 to 1992, Mwai Kibaki was in KANU and rose to become KANU's and Kenya's Vice-President. At the height of the multi-party struggles, Kibaki publicly stated that KANU was a Mugumo Tree that multi-party champions would not "cut down with a razorblade."
Conman @RailaOdinga was among the pro multi-party champions between 1990 and 2002. But in 2002, Kibaki became President after Moi tried to impose Uhuru Kenyatta as president of KANU and Kenya and KANU Orphans under Raila endorsed Kibaki - and not a pro multiparty champion.
From 1992 to 2005, @WilliamsRuto was a virulent KANU supporter and politician. He left KANU around 2005 to join ODM after Kibaki attempted to DISMEMBER the Constitution to create a MONGREL Katiba and an IMPERIAL President. He supported conman @RailaOdinga's candidacy in 2007.
But during the 2009-2010 campaigns to enact Kenya's new constitution and replaced the old one, @WilliamsRuto openly opposed the enactment, together with despot Uhuru Kenyatta, who did so clandestinely. But it was Kenyatta and Ruto who became President and DP after the enactment.
Today, just like in 1963 when Odinga was shouting about ONE UNITED KENYA while Moi was yelling about MAJIMBO, conman @RailaOdinga and his zombified troops are excited about a "COALITION PARTY" while Ruto is rooting for POLITICAL PARTIES.
History teaches us that those who pretend to support causes they either don't fully understand, or for nefarious reasons, always rue the day they did. Just like Jaramogi did from 1966 onwards and his son, Raila has done since 1982 when he blindly followed Njonjo.
Had Odinga based his political actions in the 1960s on IDEOLOGICAL CLARITY and principles, he would not have insisted on Jomo Kenyatta, a British lackey, as president. Had conman @RailaOdinga done the same, he would never have supported Moi, Kibaki and now despot Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kenya is in a mess because of men like Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and his son, conman @RailaOdinga, who have spent decades either pretending to be progressive when they were/are closeted retrogrades, or have used political convenience, greed and selfishness to make decisions.
