The idea that the biggest threat to democracy comes from the right is nothing more than projection. With all the institutional power in the world, leftism consistently seeks to limit free speech, religious liberty, the right to self-defense, medical freedom, & so much more.
Take a gander at the world right now and see where people’s rights to work, travel, and move freely are being trampled on. See where parental rights & the rights to free speech & worship are being constrained. Are these right-wing nations? No. They are “progressive.”
In a nation where a girl is praised for cutting off her breasts & calling herself a boy, & a man can become the “first woman” to do xyz because he now goes by Sally, but a person who won’t bake a cake for a gay wedding has his life ruined, our biggest problem ain’t conservatism.
We have been warned by intellectuals for decades that the Christian nationalist fascist state is imminent. Not only has it never come close to fruition, but we have become far more secular, & our views have become more liberal over the years, especially over the last 10.
As we’ve polarized, the left has moved much farther to the left on every issue than the right has moved to the right. In fact, on gay marriage & immigration, Republicans have moved to the left. pewresearch.org/politics/2017/…

pewresearch.org/politics/2020/…
And as the left, and the country in general, has moved further to the left, they’ve become extremely intolerant of others’ views. This study shows how overwhelmingly more tolerant of people’s opposing political opinions Republicans are than Democrats. …6-4562-bad6-31eaf606c53a.filesusr.com/ugd/b2ee84_a92…
94% of a Republicans saying they’d be friends with someone who voted for the opposing candidate, vs 64% of Democrats, doesn’t exactly support the idea that Republicans are the ones intent on conforming others to their views.
Are there conservatives & professing Christians who want to implement a Christian theocracy? Sure, even though there is no Biblical directive to do so. But more likely is that Christians, just like secular progressives, think their value system is a good basis for society.
Every law speaks to a worldview. The question is, which one? Nothing is neutral. Christianity has offered a foundation for laws in the West that have, over time, accomplished more freedom & flourishing than any system in history. Secularism has a much more oppressive track record
So, if you’re scared for the future of democracy, look at those in power actually taking away people’s freedoms. If the only “freedom” you care about is the right to kill a child, and the limitation of that freedom is what you consider authoritarian, then evaluate your worldview.

Thoughts on the utterly ridiculous Let’s Go Brandon Christmas “scandal.”

A few years ago, I did a satirical fake interview “with” AOC. It was funny & obviously not real. The next day, Buzzfeed, WaPo, & other outlets ran articles accusing me of purposely trying to trick people.
It was hilarious, bc their outrage was fake. They knew it was a joke. They just don’t like jokes at the expense of their Dear Leaders.

Highlighting the absurdity, stupidity or incompetence of their side using irony is effective & is therefore off limits. (Why they hate BabBee)
Of course, journalists are happy with it when it comes to Republicans. You can mock, slander, & threaten The People With Bad Politics all day, & they’ll bark & clap in approval. But The People With Good Politics are beyond reproach.

Do you not see that progressivism and secularism always lead to the dehumanization of the very “marginalized” people they claim to care for? This language is an assault not just on what it means to be a woman, but on what it means to be human & thus on the Imago Dei itself.
The kind of detached language seen here regards the body as a thing to be possessed, almost as something less than human. It is objectifying, and as such will lead to confusion, self-loathing & unhealthy sexual relationships, without a doubt.
We are not owners of our body. Our body is us. It is inextricably intertwined with our identity, our purpose, our place in the world — something that radical gender ideology denies.

An image of a man getting his shirt pulled by a border patrol agent is nothing compared to the many, many photos & videos that have been released over the past few months of children and babies abandoned in the desert, drugged, & smuggled across the border. These don’t go viral.
Why? Because then we’d have to talk about the lax policies that cause the prevalence of these kinds of situations. The media & the WH do not care about these children - hundreds of them trafficked, raped & kidnapped.
And what really gets me is the Christians who always, ALWAYS fall for this stuff. A photo or headline goes viral, and they post about how terrible it is without even waiting to see if there’s more to the story or asking themselves why they haven’t posted about the issue til now.

WOW. Read this. The Biden administration is reportedly reducing its supply of monoclonal antibodies to states like Texas. Add this to pharmacies refusing to fill prescriptions for treatments that are saving lives under the direction of the CDC, and the agenda of cruelty is clear.
Every single Republican official should be loudly speaking up about and pushing back against this, if they are good for anything at all. This is evil, plain and simple.
“Are we going to have a civil war?” people keep asking. Well, the Biden administration is apparently purposely restricting treatment from saving people’s lives in red states, so it would seem that it’s already begun.

This is happening at @Walgreens and @cvspharmacy across the country. I have a friend right now whose doctor prescribed Ivermectin, and Walgreens & CVS are refusing to fill it. This will cost lives.

They don’t care that Obama had a party while you’re forced to make your toddler wear a mask. They don’t care that BLM rioted while you had to close your business. They don’t care about the masses in the streets celebrating Biden while your lonely teen was on suicide watch.
They don’t care that Newsome partied at the French Laundry while you got the call that your mom died alone in her nursing home. They don’t care that Bowser was hanging w/ Chapelle while you’re wondering how to feed your family w/o the rental income you relied on. They don’t care.
Don’t expect sympathy from Biden or Kamala or Joy Reid or Don Lemon or any of the other calloused, self-important people in the media or in politics. They see the double standard. They see your pain. They do. not. care.
