It is a further signal to all Americans that Republicans must be defeated in every election until their party is either gone or completely rebuilt, that none of them except Liz and Dick Cheney were present for the House commemoration of 1/6.
They hope against hope that people will just forget that their white supremacy culture, grievance nurturing hatred called forth an insurrection to try to steal our votes, overthrow our elected government and stop the peaceful transfer of power.
They hope we'll forget the gallows they erected and the Confederate flag carried through the halls of Congress.
They also hope that there are enough people inspired by the white supremacy and fascism displayed on 1/6/2021 (and every day before and since) to win them back the House and Senate.
They are the party of hatred and destruction and we better never forget. They're running for office all over the country now. They're banning books from our schools and threatening violence against public officials who are just doing their jobs.
I hope people wake up. Because there's only one group of people who keep voting for this shit.
