ZeniMax Media - Wikipedia

ZeniMax was founded in 1999 by Bethesda Softworks founder Christopher Weaver and Robert A. Altman. The name is a portmanteau of "zenith" and "maximum". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZeniMax_M…
The main front company for JMWAVE was "Zenith Technical Enterprises, Inc." In addition, about 300 to 400 other front companies were created throughout South Florida with a large range of "safe houses", cover businesses and other properties.

On January 29, 1984, Altman married
Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter.

Altman practiced law for many years in Washington, D.C. as a partner of Clark Clifford, a former United States Secretary of Defense in the law firm of Clifford and Warnke.

From 1978 to 1982, Altman and Clifford represented a group of wealthy
Arab businessmen, including members of the royal family from Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia in their efforts to acquire a multi-state bank holding company, Financial General Bankshares. The Arab investors used a British bank, Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) as their
financial advisor in this transaction. Following the acquisition, Altman became President of Financial General which was renamed First American Corporation.

Altman being the partner of Clark Clifford used his connections as a lawyer to stack ZeniMax's Advisory board with such
high profile political figures like Terry McAuliffe, George J. Mitchell and Tony Coelho with McAuliffe and Mitchell joining the advisory board in 2000 while Coelho joined in 2001.

In 1999, Coelho was made Chairman of Vice President Al Gore's presidential campaign. During his
tenure, Coelho moved the campaign headquarters from Washington, DC to Nashville.

On Oct. 6, 1997, the Energy Department announced that the government would sell its interest in the 47,000-acre Elk Hills reserve to Occidental Petroleum Corp. for $3.65 billion. It was the
largest privatization of federal property in U.S. history, one that tripled Occidental’s U.S. oil reserves overnight.

Although the Energy Department was required to assess the likely environmental consequences of the proposed sale, it didn’t. Instead it hired a private company,
ICF Kaiser International, Inc., to complete the assessment. The general chairman of Gore’s presidential campaign, Tony Coelho, sat on the board of directors.

Just hours after the announcement of the Elk Hills sale, Gore stood across town on the campus of Georgetown University
and delivered a speech to the White House Conference on Climate Change on the “terrifying prospect” of global warming, a problem he attributed to the unchecked use of fossil fuels such as oil.

Gore and Chernomyrdin signed a 20-year, $12 billion deal under which Russia would
ship its weapons-grade uranium to the United States. The U.S. Enrichment Corp. (then government-owned) would buy the highly enriched uranium, process it into lower grade, reactor-friendly uranium and sell it to nuclear power plants in the United States. The cash-starved Russian
government would get much-needed dollars to pay its nuclear scientists, those scientists would not be tempted to offer their services around the world, and nuclear material would be under the protection of the United States.

Foreign policy experts including Thomas Neff, a senior
researcher for the Center for International Studies at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology, who conceived of the uranium agreement warned that privatization threatened the deal. A privatized, profit-seeking U.S. Enrichment Corp., would pay Russia far less cash for its
uranium than the amount Gore and Chernomyrdin had originally agreed on. Gore, as the broker of the deal, was in a perfect position to lobby against the privatization scheme. He didn’t. Instead, the Clinton-Gore administration wholeheartedly supported privatization of USEC as
part of its efforts to “reinvent government.”

Clinton rewarded Rainer for presiding over USEC’s privatization by nominating him to serve as the chairman of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission.

AS NEFF AND OTHER EXPERTS had predicted, however, the deal soon began to
unravel. Later in 1998 USEC announced that it had received shipments of uranium from the U.S. Department of Energy. The sudden glut caused the worldwide price of uranium to plummet, and the Russians suddenly stood to receive less money than they had been promised. Yeltsin’s
government cried foul and threatened to sell its nuclear material to other countries, including Iran. The White House scrambled to come up with the money the Russians demanded, and managed to quietly slip an extra $325 million for the Russians a taxpayer-financed bailout into an
omnibus appropriations bill before Congress.
Neff, the architect of the plan to ship Russia’s weapons-grade uranium to USEC for reprocessing, estimates that it will cost taxpayers $140 million a year for 15 years to continue purchasing the Russian nuclear material, for a total
cost of $2.1 billion or $200 million more than the sale of USEC brought in.

Centrus Energy Corp. (formerly USEC Inc.) is an American company that supplies nuclear fuel for use in nuclear power plants. It is the parent company of the United States Enrichment Corporation, a
corporation that contracts with the United States Department of Energy to produce enriched uranium for nuclear power stations.

USEC had gaseous diffusion plants at Piketon, Ohio near Portsmouth and in McCracken County, Kentucky, near Paducah, Kentucky . The United States
Nuclear Regulatory Commission assumed regulatory authority over the Portsmouth facility in March 1997 and on June 5, 1998 the agency made an investigation into alleged "failure to control components with uranium deposits, inadequate maintenance, testing and operation of safety
valves on equipment, and exceeding the possession limit for uranium enriched greater than 20 percent." In May 2001, USEC ceased uranium enrichment operations in Piketon and consolidated operations in Paducah, Kentucky. The following year, transfer and shipping operations were
also consolidated at Paducah.

USEC was the executive agent in the U.S./Russia Highly Enriched Uranium Purchase Agreement, implemented under the Megatons to Megawatts Program.
On December 16, 2013, USEC announced that it had reached an agreement with a majority of its debt
holders to file a prearranged and voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring in the first quarter of 2014. On September 30, 2014, executives announced that the company had emerged from bankruptcy proceedings with a new name, Centrus Energy Corp.
The Russian Federation designated Techsnabexport (TENEX), a commercial subsidiary of its Ministry for Atomic Energy (Minatom), as the agent to implement the program on commercial terms. On January 14, 1994, the commercial contract between USEC and TENEX (HEU-LEU Contract) was
signed.

In 1988, Techsnabexport was transferred to the Soviet Union's Ministry of Medium Machine-Building (predecessor of Rosatom). In 2007, it was integrated with Atomenergoprom, 100% of shares of which belong to Rosatom.

In 2017, TENEX was authorized by Rosatom to transit
low-enriched uranium along the territory of the Russian Federation within the IAEA LEU Bank creation in Kazakhstan.

Oakbay Resources and Energy — a mining and processing company that supplies such products as gold, uranium, platinum, coal, and diamonds, as well as conducting
trackless/mechanised mining, track bound mining, breast mining, down-dip mining, and open-pit gold operation. It began trading on the JSE on 28 November 2014.
◦The Shiva Uranium Mine (acquired in 2010 as Uranium One) — a Uranium and gold mining and processing company in
Hartbeesfontein, North West.

In 2007, SXR Uranium One Inc. acquired UrAsia Energy, a Canadian firm headquartered in Vancouver which owned stakes in uranium mines in Kazakhstan, from Frank Giustra, and dropped SXR from its name. In the same year, Uranium One bought the Shootaring
Uranium Mill from the United States Enrichment Corporation.

In 2009, the Rosatom subsidiary ARMZ acquired 16.6% of shares in Uranium One in exchange for a 50% interest in the Karatau uranium mining project, a joint venture with Kazatomprom.

At Kazatomprom's Ulba Metallurgical
Plant (UMP) in Oskemen, Kazakhstan, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) established a low-enriched uranium (LEU) Nuclear fuel bank, enabling IAEA member countries using nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, access to IAEA LEU reserves if uranium cannot be acquired in
the commercial market. The LEU Bank, owned by the IAEA and located in Kazakhstan, holds a physical reserve of 90 metric tons of low-enriched UF6 delivered to the facility by Orano of France, and Kazatomprom.

The Washington-based Nuclear Threat Initiative's proposal for an
international fuel bank announced an initial $50 million grant to the IAEA contingent upon an additional $100 million from other sources. The United States has offered $50 million, the United Arab Emirates has pledged $10 million, Norway has promised $5 million and the European
Union agreed to provide up to 25 million euros (about $32 million in May 2009). The fuel bank therefore reached its initial funding target in March 2009.

Former Senator Sam Nunn, a co-Chairman of the Nuclear Threat Initiative, said in a speech announcing the NTI pledge that "we
envision that this stockpile will be available as a last-resort fuel reserve for nations that have made the sovereign choice to develop their nuclear energy based on foreign sources of fuel supply services-and therefore have no indigenous enrichment facilities." Warren Buffett, a
key NTI advisor, is financially backing and enabling the commitment. "This pledge is an investment in a safer world," Buffett said.

NTI was founded in 2001 by former U.S. Senator Sam Nunn and philanthropist Ted Turner. It serves as the Secretariat for the "Nuclear Security
Project", in cooperation with the Hoover Institution at Stanford. Former Secretary of State George P. Shultz, former Secretary of Defense William J. Perry, former Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger and Nunn (the "four horsemen of the nuclear apocalypse") guide the project—an
effort to encourage global action to reduce urgent nuclear dangers and build support for reducing reliance on nuclear weapons, ultimately ending them as a threat to the world.

NTI has received international recognition for work to improve biosecurity, primarily through creating
disease surveillance networks.

NTI also created the Connecting Organizations for Disease Surveillance (CORDS), which in 2013 launched as an independent NGO that links international disease surveillance networks, supported by the World Health Organization, and the Food and
Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

In 1997, President Bill Clinton appointed Mrs Peggy Hamburg as Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She served in this policy role until 2001 when she became the
founding Vice President for Biological Programs and later the Senior Scientist for the Nuclear Threat Initiative.

Two months prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hamburg was member to a meeting titled "Universal Flu Vaccine" (dated October 29, 2019) with other government officials
including Anthony Fauci, speaking about the need to "blow up the system" in-order to bypass regulatory control on mRNA vaccines. Also discussed in the meeting, held at the Milken Institute School of Public Health, was the need to create an "aura of excitement" and "make influenza
sexy" in order to revive government funding and have hyper-production of the mRNA vaccines which she and others in the meeting believed were superior to "traditional egg-based vaccines".

Hamburg is married to Peter Fitzhugh Brown, a computer scientist and artificial intelligence
expert. Brown is the chief executive officer of Renaissance Technologies.

Jamie Simons ran Renaissance until his retirement in late 2009. Simons stepped down as Chairman in 2021. The company is now run by Peter Brown (after Robert Mercer resigned). Both of them were computer
scientists specializing in computational linguistics who joined Renaissance in 1993 from IBM Research.

Robert Leroy Mercer (born July 11, 1946) is an American hedge fund manager, former principal investor in the now-defunct Cambridge Analytica, and computer scientist. Mercer was
an early artificial intelligence researcher and developer and is the former co-CEO of the hedge fund company Renaissance Technologies.

Mercer and his daughter Rebekah helped to obtain senior roles in the Trump campaign for Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway.
Mercer lives at
"Owl's Nest" mansion in Head of the Harbor, New York. He has commissioned a series of yachts, all named Sea Owl. The most recent one is 203 feet (62 metres) in length, and has a pirate-themed playroom for Mercer's grandchildren and a chandelier of Venetian glass.
Mercer grew up in New Mexico. He developed an early interest in computers and in 1964 attended a National Youth Science Camp in West Virginia where he learned to program a donated IBM computer.

He went on to get a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics from the
University of New Mexico.

While working on his degree he had a job at the Air Force Weapons Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base writing programs where, though he felt he produced good work, he felt it was not optimized.

Kirtland is the home of the Air Force Materiel
Command's Nuclear Weapons Center (NWC). The NWC's responsibilities include acquisition, modernization and sustainment of nuclear system programs for both the Department of Defense and Department of Energy.

Chiang Kai-shek pilots and bombardiers received training from Kirtland
Field instructors.

Perhaps one of the most important functions Kirtland Field served during World War II was as a transportation center for the needs of scientists developing the atomic bomb in Los Alamos. The Manhattan Project personnel in Los Alamos first became aware of the
value of the location of the air base during the process of converting the atomic bomb into a practical airborne weapon. Because Kirtland Field was the closest large airport, its runways and bombloading pit supported the atomic bomb program during 1944 and 1945.

With the end of
World War II, the base again became Albuquerque Army Air Field and was used by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation—later called the War Assets Administration. Old or surplus aircraft were to be sold or demolished at the site. Albuquerque Army Air Field received some 2,250 old
or surplus aircraft, such as obsolete B-24 Liberator and B-17 Flying Fortress bombers, and smaller aircraft like AT-6 Texan trainers, Curtiss P-40 Warhawk and Bell P-39 Airacobra fighters. Aircraft that the Civil Aeronautics Administration licensed for public use were sold to the
public, with prices ranging from $100 for a PT-17 Stearman to $90,000 for a C-54 Skymaster. North American Aviation bought back a large number of their AT-6s, overhauled and resold them to customers including the Dutch and Chinese governments.

As these arrangements were taking
place, a new subgroup of the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos was being organized. Titled the Z Division for its chief, Dr. Jerrold Zacharias, a Los Alamos scientist from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the new group's mission was to manage the engineering design,
production, assembly, and field-testing of the non-nuclear components associated with nuclear bombs.

Jerrold Reinach Zacharias (January 23, 1905 – July 16, 1986) was an American physicist and Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an
education reformer. His scientific work was in the area of nuclear physics.

During World War II, Zacharias was involved in both the Radiation Laboratory at MIT and the Manhattan Project.

In 1952 at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory, which had recently been founded to study issues of
air defense, the Lincoln Summer Study Group took place, where physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer other scientists urged that resources be allocated to air defense in preference to large retaliatory nuclear strike capabilities.

During the Lyndon B. Johnson administration, Zacharias
worked for the White House's Office of Science and Technology.

The President's Science Advisory Committee (PSAC) was created on November 21, 1957 by President of the United States Dwight D. Eisenhower, as a direct response to the Soviet launching of the Sputnik 1 and Sputnik 2
satellites.

In 1961, President John F. Kennedy renamed the agency the Office of Science and Technology (OST). This lasted until Richard Nixon's administration in 1973. In 1976 the Office of Science and Technology Policy was established.

Q clearance or Q access authorization is
the Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance required to access Top Secret Restricted Data, Formerly Restricted Data, and National Security Information, as well as Secret Restricted Data. Restricted Data (RD) is defined in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 and covers nuclear
weapons and related materials.

In 1946, U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps Major William L. Uanna, in his capacity as the first Chief of the Central Personnel Clearance Office at the newly formed Atomic Energy Commission, named and established the criteria for the Q Clearance.
In 1948 Uanna became second-in-command of an Armed Forces Special Weapons Project (AFSWP) construction program to build storage bases for atomic weapons. As the highest ranking civilian on the project he was responsible for over $100 million of works. The Federal Bureau of I
nvestigation (FBI) sought to continue the relationship they had developed at the Atomic Energy Commission where internal FBI memos described Uanna as the "main source of confidential information within the AEC."

From 1949 to 1951, Uanna worked as an Intelligence Specialist at
the newly established Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he wrote the Office of Policy Coordination's (OPC) briefing manual. The OPC was the covert action branch of the US intelligence community and at this time was overseen jointly by the State Department and the
Department of Defense, rather than by the Director of Central Intelligence.

Uanna was responsible for the security for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's visit to the United States in 1957.

John Foster Dulles became ill in late 1958 and was replaced by Christian Herter,
after which Uanna was posted overseas to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, as an administrative officer at the U.S. Embassy. He was also the State Department liaison with the U.S. Department of Defense.

Herter married the wealthy heiress Mary Caroline Pratt (1895–1980) in 1917. She was
the daughter of Frederic B. Pratt, longtime head of the Pratt Institute and granddaughter of Standard Oil magnate Charles Pratt.

Charles Pratt commissioned Charles A. Platt to design the family county estate, known as "Poplar Hill", in Glen Cove, on the North Shore of Long
Island.

Poplar Hill is one of five existing mansions in Glen Cove built for the sons of oil magnate Charles Pratt. The others are "The Braes", now the Webb Institute of Naval Architecture; "Welwyn", now the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County on the
grounds of the Welwyn Preserve; "Killenworth", now the country retreat of the Russian delegation to the United Nations; and "The Manor", now the Glen Cove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center.

In December 2016, the Obama administration announced that two Russian diplomatic
facilities, one of which was on Long Island, would be closed as part of the retaliation for the Russian interference in the 2016 United States presidential election. It was initially reported that Killenworth might be the Long Island site, but the designated facility turned out
to be another mansion owned by the Russians called Norwich House in nearby Upper Brookville, New York. Killenworth is still used by the Russian delegation.

In May 1644 John Underhill took up residence in New Amsterdam. His plot of land at the southern end of the island was later
developed as the site of Trinity Church in Manhattan.

Underhill eventually retired to a large estate (Kenilworth or Killingworth) at Oyster Bay on Long Island.

Gerhard Schrader: Father of the Nerve Agents — The Collaborative on Health and the Environment

The problem with organophosphates, as well as carbamates (another class of insecticide), is that they affect an important neurotransmitter common to both healthandenvironment.org/environmental-…
insects and mammals.

This neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, is essential for nerve cells to be able to communicate with each other.

In 1867, Adolf von Baeyer resolved the structures of choline and acetylcholine and synthetized them both, referring to the latter as
"acetylneurin" in the study. Choline is a precursor for acetylcholine. This is why Frederick Walker Mott and William Dobinson Halliburton noted in 1899 that choline injections decreased the blood pressure of animals.

Baeyer was born in Berlin as the son of the noted geodesist

First Interstate Bancorp - Wikipedia

In 1928, Amadeo Giannini, born in California to Italian immigrant parents, formed a holding company, the Transamerica Corporation, to consolidate his existing financial ventures, which began business with en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Int…
$1,100,000,000 in assets and both banking and non-banking activities. From the 1930s through the mid-1950s, Transamerica made a number of acquisitions of banks and other financial corporations throughout the western United States, creating the framework for the later First
Interstate system.

In 1953, regulators succeeded in forcing the separation of Transamerica Corporation and Bank of America under the Clayton Antitrust Act.

During the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s Western Bancorporation operated in California under the UCB brand. In the early 1970s,

Nerve agent - Wikipedia
This first class of nerve agents, the G-series, was accidentally discovered in Germany on December 23, 1936, by a research team headed by Gerhard Schrader working for IG Farben. Since 1934, Schrader had been working in a laboratory en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerve_age…
in Leverkusen to develop new types of insecticides for IG Farben. While working toward his goal of improved insecticide, Schrader experimented with numerous compounds, eventually leading to the preparation of Tabun.

Schrader discovered two more organophosphate nerve agents, and
a fourth after the war:
•Tabun (1936)
•Sarin (1938)
•Soman (1944)
•Cyclosarin (1949)

Sarin was discovered by Schrader and his team in 1938 and named in honor of its discoverers: Gerhard Schrader, Otto Ambros, Gerhard Ritter [de], and Hans-Jürgen von der Linde.
