(1) This thread, not written by me - but does have strong merit. A little on the worst case scenario side of things, but well-argued and accepted.

What could be in our future....
(2) "We all know by now “Never let a crisis go to waste” REALLY means:

CREATE a crisis, or the PUBLIC PERCEPTION of a crises, in order to justify a public policy change (Government action) that you want to enact."
(3) And, typically do nothing to truly address the crises you created, as to do so would eliminate the justification for the government action you wanted all along.
(4) Creating this supply chain debacle, as a DIRECT result of Government actions, WILL result in a ‘public outcry”, a DEMAND from consumers, that the Government, the FEDERAL Government specifically, MUST “DO SOMETHING!!”
(5) Just as the initial demands to “DO SOMETHING” resulted in Brandon ordering the ports in Cal. to operate with longer hours, and the container ships to station farther out so they couldn’t be seen, i.e., nothing to truly address the problem,…
(6) The government response to this Government created crises will INEVITABLY be rationing, such as we have not seen since WW2.
(7) [Duration, scope and scale undetermined]

In addition, there will be condemnation and criminal penalties for “Hording”, which WILL have ‘public support’, as the grasshoppers who haven’t “prepped” will be resentful of their ant neighbors, who have.
(8) And, being “Horders” will be another “tag” added to the long list of pejoratives being heaped on US; Racist, Insurrectionist, Anti-vaxxing HORDERS.
(9) In fact, there will be those who will generate the false narrative that the WHOLE problem with supply chains, is BECAUSE of these “horders”; we already saw some of this, in the toilet paper shortage awhile back.
(10) And, of course, once the Government institutes rationing [whatever the scale], IT decides WHERE material goes, AND WHO GETS IT and equally important, WHO DOESN’T.
(11) Current example for reference: "Monoclonal Antibodies"
(12) So, to get your one loaf of bread and gallon of milk per week, you will have to show your vax passport, for you and your household, or “No hamburger for YOU!”, courtesy the “soup kitchen nazi” from seinfeld.
(13) My household are currently ‘insulated’ from the mandates, by luck and lifestyle choices, we have not YET experienced ANY pressure to get the jab.

And, I suspect some millions of those who haven’t been jabbed, are in the same situation.
(14) THIS WOULD put us directly in the crosshairs of coercion and being forced to “comply or die” both by having our stores of food confiscated (and criminally charged with ‘hording’) AND by denying us the opportunity to purchase food, unless we comply.
(15) From the perspective of the Biden government, in alignment with their vaccination ideology as presented via mandates, vaccinations as a qualification for benefit is an opportunity. They will embrace it.
(16) I (and others here) have been pointing out that, once you have “stocked up”, the next equally vital task is to recognize you can ONLY stock up so much, and need to move towards SUSTAINABLE alternatives, i.e. ‘growing your own”.
(17) It is hard to imagine (but ANYTHING IS possible) that in times of food shortages “victory gardens” as were common in WW2 America, will be outlawed....

...At the very least, regulated.
(18) As they have already stated, numerous times, in numerous ways, their strategy and intention are to “make ant-jabbers UNCOMFORTABLE, by degrees, knowing that as they continue to SQUEEZE, many will relent without the “need” to resort to overt police powers for refusing the jab
(19) Hence, I THINK the supply chain disruptions will be made worse by deliberately created policy, in order to justify increased Federal government POWER, in order to push the Covid passport, which is really a “Social credit score” system.
(20) It's a rapid acceleration to totalitarian tyranny, on a Global level, breathtaking to watch, with potentially devastating stakes.

Watch your 6!

/END
(21) All of the above (2 though 20) were not authored by me but do structurally pass the test of actionable insight by accepting things as they are -vs- reconciling the "what ifs" through a prism of what we would wish them to be.

1/ @AlexGangitano The Dec numbers won't be released for a few more days. However, based on this article (see link) and the prior stats, it looks like port activity in December will again be lower than October when new port initiative was announced.

2/ It's a simple math equation. Article on end of year totals.

cnn.com/2022/01/04/bus…
3/ The Port of Los Angeles data shows they handled 468,713 import containers in October, and 405,309 in November. That’s a decrease of 63,404 import containers from the prior month.

**ahem**

I must credit the entire CTH team for nailing the timeline almost to the exact moment approximately 4 months ago. [Stunningly accurate] As we continue to hold firm, there are less than two weeks left before FUBAR hits the 24/7 news cycle.

1) Priorities in base ingredient/resource supply distribution are being made (grain and protein). Pet food processing is a lower priority. Do not be surprised if you see the Biden administration trigger federal intervention soon...

whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/…
2) Fed intervention is what created this mess in the first place. The crisis was created by policy. The same fed intervention that created the crisis will now offer solutions to the crisis. Guaranteed.

Sectors will be nationalized. They will be responding to public pressure.
3) We are approximately two weeks away from this issue consuming almost every moment of media time.

Many flawed explanations will be afforded. People will demand to know what caused this. The truth will never be told. Instead, the federal solution will be a temp...

1) This is a good spot to put some research showing how incredibly fabricated this administration is.

Do you remember that massive PR push on how Biden was going to improve supply chains and the ports in California?

Well, we did a review of actual results so far.
2) October 13, 2021, Joe Biden delivered widely carried remarks about specific actions his administration was taking to increase operations at the Port of Los Angeles (POLA) and the Port of Long Beach (POLB).

3) White House fact sheet is HERE, “announcing a series of public and private commitments to move more goods faster, and strengthen the resiliency of our supply chains, by moving towards 24/7 operations at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.”

(1) Christmas 2021 in Kentucky:

Yes, there was a family ... they will have a forever memory about how God’s people came together to help.

The community knows that we were there as were a lot of other groups. These things are indeed important but there is another thing....
(2) We often forget that we are a larger community than our hometowns and churches. We looked at each other as God’s workers, sent by God to do a work for God.
(3) We did not discuss doctrines or systems or ecclesiastic orders. God brought us together and what I saw was only one thing, God at work.

(1) Timing here is not coincidental.

Biden battered over inflation.
Biden asks OPEC to increase production.
OPEC refuses.
Then comes Omicron.
(2) The Biden energy policy is specifically to blame for the current price increases across the entire energy sector.
(3) Biden halted pipelines, cancelled oil and gas leases, blocked expanded refinery capacity and regulated the entire U.S. oil industry into a place of diminished capacity. That is why energy prices have, as Obama promised, “necessarily skyrocketed.”
