- Hotspots (HS) can be viewed as devices that process small data sets long distances (up to 20 miles). Your hotspot acts as a medium to transfer that data!
- Traditional $HNT lorawan is not providing WiFi (5G hotspots do that, covered later).

- Transmit scale(TS) is a multiplier that is applied to rewards of any Hotspot that witness you.
- TS decreases with the more number of hotspots in a hex
- Low TS does not mean low rewards!

- Antennas do two things: transmit and receive radio wave
- The stock antennas that come with $HNT miners are designed for short distances only
- Replacing stock $HNT miner with an external antenna can greatly increase the range of radio waves (10x)

- Avoid Overcrowded hexes
- Focus on the optimal antenna for your location
- Do the research and simulate
- Get your Antenna outside and high up
- Poor internet connection (can cause issues when firmware needs to update resulting in your hotspot being down)
