Pretty sure this is the dictionary definition of "wasting police time".
Although, between a former policeman and a lawyer, you'd think they'd know that just because someone gave you a crime number doesn't mean there's necessarily "a live criminal investigation" going on.
This is the utter nonsense some poor copper had to deal with when Mark Sexton turned up at a police station.
1100 pages (!) of "evidence" from "world experts", accusing UK government ministers of everything from misconduct and corporate manslaughter to terrorism and genocide!
They claim (amongst other things) that covid vaccines are causing "death on a massive scale", the government and media are covering this up, tests are a "health hazard", and the SARS-COV-2 virus hasn't been isolated.
All completely false.
They've also sent this nonsense to the International Criminal Court, adding conspiracy nut favourites Dr Fauci, Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab and the WHO to the list of people they're accusing, as well as someone from the Rockefeller Foundation because .. well, why not, I guess. 🤪

Despite repeatedly being proven wrong by subsequent events, covid disinformation groups like HART have constantly been given a platform on TV and radio throughout the pandemic.
Even after #hartleaks revealed many of their members to be anti-vax conspiracy cranks.
🧵2: broadcast
One of the most prolific spreaders of misinformation over the last two years has been @talkRADIO's @JuliaHB1.
When she asked someone "what disinformation" she had spread, it didn't take me long to find plenty of examples involving prominent HART members:
In 2020, @JuliaHB1 and other @talkRADIO hosts gave airtime to future HART members like Michael Yeadon, Clare Craig and Anthony Brookes. They predicted there wouldn't be a second wave (there was), it wouldn't be as bad as the first (it was), and we had herd immunity (we didn't).
Covid contrarians often complain about being censored, but in reality groups like HART are platformed and even actively supported by print, radio and TV journalists.
This continued even after #hartleaks showed them to be a bunch of cranks and conspiracy theorists.

When HART launched, their media coordinator Jemma Moran already had a list of "trusted journos" to target. She calls @AllisonPearson their "most supportive contact", and offers her and the @Telegraph first sight of their press release and an article by HART member Ellen Townsend.
Pearson promptly writes an article accusing the media of "remorseless scaremongering" and calling HART's launch "cheering". She charitably describes them as a "group of eminent doctors, scientists, economists and psychologists", and a "thoughtful bunch". Which is far from true!
The Omicron wave in South Africa seems to be subsiding. The good news is that although case numbers (and positivity rates) were a little higher than their previous records from July, this caused less hospital admissions and a LOT less deaths.
So how about the UK?
Here in the UK we're now at DOUBLE the previous record number of daily cases (from January 2021), and still rising, certainly outside of London. And that *doesn't* include reinfections, as people are only counted the first time they ever test positive.
This is NOT just down to increased testing (which seems to be constrained by supply rather than demand now). Positivity rates in England are now higher than they were in January, meaning a higher proportion of people being tested have covid.
How misinformation works:
- ONS report shows breakthrough infections in the vaccinated are more likely to be Omicron.
- HART's Will Jones writes a Daily Sceptic article falsely claiming "the vaccinated are playing an outsize role in the current outbreak".
- Toby Young: 2+2 = 541.
Another Sunday, another wildly misleading article and tweet from @thelucyjohnston, this time cherrypicking one sentence from a 31 page study by @collateralglbl to claim 40% of excess care home deaths weren't caused by covid. That figure is only for the first wave, and it's wrong.
The article does at least say this figure is only for March to June 2020. But it doesn't mention that many (possibly most) of those "non-covid" excess deaths are believed to have been undiagnosed covid, which in the elderly can look a lot like dementia.
We've long known covid deaths were under counted in the first wave. Concerns had already been raised in April 2020 that, in the absence of testing, care home death certificates weren't mentioning covid, even when it was suspected to be the cause of death.
This paper by several HART members misses an obvious explanation for some odd looking ONS data, ignores the ONS' data definitions, then manipulates that data to falsely claim the vaccines cause a (non-existent) spike in deaths!
The data oddity that caught their eyes is a bump in deaths per 100,000 in unvaccinated people in each age group, soon after that group starts being vaccinated.
But as the overall mortality rates show, there is NO spike in deaths during the vaccine rollout.
So what's going on?
The paper's authors wrongly believe the vaccines are killing us, so they present the data like this.
I replicated this graph from the raw ONS data, and it is correct. BUT it has an obvious explanation that doesn't involve claiming the ONS is deliberately miscategorising deaths!
