There comes a time for every lightworker when we give up the fight to awaken others and bring them along. It was always their choice anyway, and in a sense we were trying to impose our wills upon them by trying to influence their perceptions and choices.

The struggle to serve can sap all the joy and energy out of even the best-intentioned of us, and drag us down into the very vibrations we want to lift others out of.

It is as it our souls are addicted to the light that flows through us as we share it with the world, and like any addiction it can come with severe and unexpected consequences that harm us, our lives, and those were love.

The world has made its choice to descend once again into the darkness and conflict. We weep for it and pray it were another way, and beat our heads against the wall trying to change it. But humanity either will change or it will not, regardless of our efforts. God bless them.

This realization is an important one for lightworkers. You can't change others or bring balance to the world. You can only do it for yourself, and trust that in so doing you will lift up the vibrations of the collective consciousness that creates this reality.

In the end, the only thing that matters is our own individual realization of the Oneness that we are, and efforts to dissolve the illusions of separation we use to keep ourselves apart.

As One who has traveled the path for many years and lifetimes, and served with and trained great masters along the way, I hope your mission does not become your bondage to a world locked in suffering, conflict and control. Set yourself free.

Know when it is your time to put down the sword of truth and quit trying to shine the light for those who refuse to see. Another world is waiting, and this one isn't serving you any more.

I release you from your bodhisatva vows. Follow your heart and find your way home.
