Cruz: We asked why you haven't targeted 2020 rioters who committed violent crimes. Americans "deeply concerned" about politicization of Biden's DOJ.

Sanborn: I am aware of him but don't know.

Samborn: Not to my knowledge.

Not exactly an assuring answer.

That was some shady performance by Sanborn. Eyes darting around, evasive.

Cruz directly asked how many FBI assets on January 6. She said, "I won't go into sources and methods."

Hearing up now on Ryan Samsel, the man who first breached USCP line at the perimeter of Capitol grounds right before 1pm on January 6. DOJ announced two other defendants will be added to his 2-person case.

Judge is Tim Kelly, a Trump appointee. Samsel has been detained since his arrest on January 30. He has been assaulted at least twice in 2 different jails.

New indictment is under seal bc there is a 5th individual who hasn't been arrested yet so name is redacted.
Samsel atty telling Kelly USMS still hasn't given Samsel's medical record to PA jail where he is detained. Also refuting DOJ adding defendants to Samsel's case since there is no conspiracy charge. 'Why not charge 725 people together?"

Samsel has no trial date.

Definition of an inside job:

•infiltrate “militia” groups months in advance

•conduct tabletop exercises to game out potential violence after Election Day

•deny offers of extra security on January 6

•assemble elite FBI forces at Quantico the weekend before January 6

•keep White House in the dark about potential threat

•deploy govt/political agents the night before at rallies, hotels, etc

•deploy hundreds of FBI “shadowy commandos” into the city that morning

•station DC DHS bomb squad right near the exact location of alleged pipe bombs
•coordinate first physical breach of outside perimeter with reports of a pipe bomb…just minutes before Congress convenes

•order LEO to start attacking crowds of protesters outside the building to prompt unrest and confrontations with police

•let hundreds into the building

GOP senators better raise holy hell on this. Under what authority does Olsen have to open up an investigative unit to target American citizens?

Olsen: "The world is watching" how we respond to J6.
Mike Lee: Has anyone been charged with insurrection?

Olsen: Not aware of anyone being charged with that.

Lee raises his June 2021 letter asking DOJ to explain discrepancies in prosecution of 2020 riots and J6.

DOJ reply 4 months later didn't answer a single question.

I just replayed Matt Olsen's testimony. It confirms DOJ NSD, an agency created to coordinate intel during the 1st war on terror, will create a domestic terror unit.

Anyone who still disputes that J6 is a pretext to launch a domestic war on terror against the Right is delusional.
Hirono expressing frustration of Democrats who are mad DOJ isn't yet using terror enhancements against "insurrectionists." She's including those who attacked police. Prosecutors have used "domestic terrorists" language in motions but not pursued enhancements

Since Dan has done zero reporting on J6, I will offer a few examples of how cops, agitators incited the crowd and let protesters into the building…
