Two new COVID-19 pills authorized by the FDA late last month that were supposed to be an important weapon against the pandemic in the U.S. are in short supply and have played little role in the fight against the omicron wave of infections. apne.ws/ef91cWW

BREAKING: Ex-Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin has pleaded guilty to federal charges of violating George Floyd’s civil rights. Chauvin’s plea means he will not face a federal trial in January, though he could end up spending more years behind bars. apne.ws/3TWjZg4
