School in East London: boy in Year 1 has had a seizure and an ambulance had to be called this afternoon: the child has no history of seizures and is not epileptic.

Seizures are well known to happen in omicron children.
The ambulance took 3 hours to arrive: mainly because omicron has peaked and the pandemic ended yesterday.
One of the Teaching Assistants at the primary school was feeling unwell yesterday: couldn't feel their legs: tested yesterday was negative. Today, they came into school: sitting like death warmed up in the staff room: told to go home: before going home tested positive.
The TA said that they couldn't afford to take time off from school, and even though they couldn't feel their legs: they still came into school.

In doing so, they have likely infected many in the school.
The TA was roaming freely around the school and works in the same class as the boy who had a seizure and was taken away by ambulance yesterday.
The story gets even worse: the boy who had the seizure has siblings who are autistic and another child who has special needs: the child who had the seizure, however, does not have any co-morbidities.
While all this was happening: a Teacher who has just has a new born baby brought the baby into the school to visit with the staff and children.
The same Teacher refused to time off even as she reached the latest stage of pregnancy: despite the fact that there is a clear increase in risk to not only pregnant women, but babies.
The school, like so many, has refused to implement bubbles and other basic infection controls: they are choosing the path of an outbreak they simply cannot control, and likely will put people in hospital, kill them etc.
The school will almost certainly end up closed in the next few weeks at this rate: they've already given one child a seizure since going back:
Extremely common symptoms in kid's with Omicron variant:

25%: 1 in 4 were gasping for air, vomiting and had seizures:
'a quarter reported vomiting and difficulty in breathing. One in five had diarrhea and seizures'

You guys have no idea BTW: I've also received these kinds of messages: and in my case they usually follow posts about new variants.
The messages almost always start out with 'I like and respect your posts, but now you are fear mongering and it's dangerous and irresponsible to report this'
'I don't think I can trust what you say now, and it's too depressing—why can't you ever be positive for once'

'Nobody else agrees with you—you should take down your dangerous posts'

Up until last month: Dame Mary Marsh was Chair of Trustees for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). She is also the non executive director of HBSC bank: she has yet to be replaced as Chair of RCPCH.
As can be seen from her profile on the RCPCH website: Dame Mary was not only the non executive director of HSBC bank—who also fund Great Ormond Street (GOSH)—she also is a Trustee for 'Teach First'. A company who directly profit from schools staying open.
Teach First: a charity that is supposed to place people in schools while they train to become qualified teachers; dropped 120 recruits when the pandemic hit: those effected were left unable to pay their mortgages:

But don't worry, because we're covering it up! Even the report cited says there's an increase of 12% vs other waves. Russell Vyner: a true enemy of children's health is quoted in this article which downplays & denies the true risk to kids.

Here's some real figures for you SAGE: babies and toddlers usually account for about 1.4% of admissions: they now account for over 5%. Increase 3x WITH OMICRON.
Now they are saying that under 1s represent 42% of child admissions: This, they say, is up from 30%. That already shows you that the youngest have the highest risk in terms of kids!

OMICRON UK: Patients in hospital reaches levels not seen since mid Feb: more than doubling from 20 Dec to 11 Jan.
In fact, when you look at the rate of growth: Omicron surged much faster: compared to to 2020 (Alpha). Here we can see Oct 2020: around the same amount of in patients as Dec 2021: 7,852...close enough to compare.
It took till Dec 19, 2020, to hit the 19K+ plus mark: a two month period.

Omicron climbed the same amount in just 3 weeks. More than twice as fast as Alpha:

Wow! Los Angeles has the biggest increase so far in BABIES AND TODDLERS admitted for OMICRON VARIANT: A 14.5X INCREASE HERE: FROM 4 TO 58 in the space of a month:
We don't need spike gene dropout to tell us where omicron is: just look at the increase in kids admissions: that's the only data point I need anymore.
And I'm not joking.

LA estimates that 4.5% of cases are hospitalised with omicron: they claim that this is a reduction from Delta and other variants:

5-6% with Delta...to now 4.5%?? wow, a 0.5% reduction....apparently....

Yep, tragic news: Covid is not just something that kills CV and CEVs as so many health experts like to drill into your head: it can destroy lives in so many ways: so many lives destroyed by this horrific virus: Drs need to start getting behind Covid zero, for their own sake
One thing that really confuses me is why so many Drs are still committed to this mad idea of the virus becoming endemic and like any other disease?

How many Drs who work on the frontlines have now been through so much hell that surely they realise that we can't live with it.
I understand that Drs are seen as system managers essentially, and so there job is not to try and change the world, but rather treat the world as it were. But for a pandemic, where it's quite clear that we simply can't live with this virus, surely they can come up with better
