Interesting piece by Peter Doshi in the BMJ demanding that vaccine companies provide access to the raw data so we can all see the studies and assess the truth of the claims… I really think this is unacceptable: if we had a genuine peer-review system than the data would be made available as standard: Image

The BA2,Omicron sub-variant is quickly becoming dominant in Denmark: a greater ability to evade immunity and higher transmissibility are known properties: However, the variant may also be associated with more severe disease & death given Denmark's data. I actually left out the most alarming part about the BA2 sub-variant in the above thread: look at the booster at vaccination levels in Denmark: 60% are boosted. Image

Or we could just go for Covid zero right now globally and actually stop the pandemic. Nah, why do that? That might actually work, and we can't have that. Let's waste time trying to vaccinate everyone and everything which will only take about, I don't know, 8 years.

So, to be clear, diabetes is known complication of Covid and appears to be increasingly common with Omicron: "Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a serious problem that can happen in people with diabetes if their body starts to run out of insulin. When this happens, harmful substances called ketones build up in the body, which can be life-threatening if it's not found and treated quickly."

Here we go...omicron is more severe in kids... I like how he says 'i know anecdotes don't mean much' well, there's plenty of data that shows that omicron is more severe in children from South Africa and the UK, and US, so it's not 'just anecdotal'

I'm sorry but this shows such a fundamental lack of understanding about omicron: the pattern is that is simply goes after younger people: AND IS also more severe in kids. For you guys who have followed the SA outbreak from the start you'll know this by now.... The 'classic' as I will call it omicron pattern is a as follows: it starts with low cases in kids and high admissions from those cases: the increase is usually around 3-3-5x in the space of a few week in terms of admissions.

The only reason that China is allowed to persue a zero policy is because Apple, and many other major corporations depend on Chinese production: and the CEOs and shareholders of the world know that they need Chinese production. If China was to use the 'live with it at any cost' Apple wouldn't be able to make the new Macs and iPhones and Microsoft would take a massive hit. China supplies so much of the world's goods now that the world cannot afford for them to do what we are forced to endure.

Greece & Cyprus: Deltacron update: deaths in Cyprus and Greece continue to boom reaching the same heights as previous peaks: and are nearly double —or higher—those of comparable countries such as Italy and Spain: Following yesterday's confirmation by Cypriot Professor who discovered the Deltacron variant that indeed it is not the result of a lab error—a quick investigation into the situation in Greece and Cyprus reveals some disturbing trends: high deaths, high cases, high admissions...

The Greek Deltacron variant: in order t get the other side of the story I will write to prof Kostrikis and see what he has to say about it: hopefully get an interview for you guys so we can assess the situation. I think the most interesting part of these new variant of concern stories is the rabid backlash they always receive: it shows a deep-rooted fear with in certain circles that a worse variant is already here...why?

We've been trying to tell people for ages that the vaccines are being used as a way to justify so-called herd immunity: they are nowhere near as effective as people who are allegedly experts like to tell you: well this is the result. I've been labelled as an anti-vaxxer for pointing out the vaccines are 1. nowhere near as effective as we are told 2. being used a way to justify mass atrocity: so long as a needle is in the arm mass deaths are ignored: 3. The elites know this: the vaccines...
