1/ THREAD Over the course of the past 48 hours many of us have witnessed individuals and groups of the far right try to exploit the brutal murder of #AislingMurphy to further their own political goals.

2/ Over this time these men, particularly members and supporters of Justin Barrett's National Party, have tried to position themselves as caring about the safety of women living in Ireland.

3/ The men in Ireland pushing ethnonationalism, white supremacy, homophobia and transphobia as well as other multitudes of hate, are no friends of women, or women’s safety. The far right regularly target migrant women, transwomen and all women they deem ‘non white’.

4/ The far right direct violence against women.

Fascist thinking and organising is deeply rooted in misogyny as a world view and an organising principle. The far right stand opposed to *all women* living free independent lives.

5/ The men in Ireland actively involved in hate organising today have, as will be demonstrated in this thread, a long history of violence and intimidation, on and offline against women living in Ireland.

6/ Despite their claims to be big men protectors of Mother Ireland, they are infact a source of anti women organising across our communities that need to be shown for what they really are.

7/ Dave Cullen aka Computing Forever. National Party member Cullen earns over €5000 a month from a profile he built pushing out videos and tweets targeting women like Anita Sarkeesian and other women who worked in the gaming industry.

8/ Cullen's well paid grift is a deep well of misogyny. During Gamergate he teamed up with fellow misogynist Carl Benjamin, who himself demonstrated his misogyny by tweeting about raping UK MP Jess Philip, currently the shadow minster for domestic violence and safeguarding.

9/ Cullen was permanently banned from Twitter and YouTube in 2021 for persistent breaches of hate and misinformation policies. He now runs pro National Party TikTok channels, and professes to be a Trad Catholic. Cullen also works closely with white supremacist Rowan Croft.

10/ Rowan Croft also pictured here with Benjamin Carl. Yes it is one big boys club of hate. As will become ever clearer #AllFarRightMen

11/ Croft is a more well known far right activist and NP supporter with a long history of attacking women online, especially women politicians who he deems 'non-white'.

12/ Croft is a long time QAnon grifter, with the US audience providing the bulk of donations. He was booted off Twitter for his hate but only after years of reports #AllFarRightMen

13/ Before his removal from Twitter, Croft was tweet harassing the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. Not the first far right activist to try that, but Croft was calling for the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre to be shut down.

14/ While part of broader attacks on civil society groups, this type of victim-blaming around rape is really grim stuff. This is what the far right do. This is who they are. #AllFarRightMen

15/ Rowan Croft tweeted this image. It is deliberately blurred out here. The original wasn't. Young children and women teachers are the targetted because of who they are. Women and children...

16/ These men of the far right sully the name of Aisling Murphy, by using her murder to whip up hate, and as you will see, try to make money #AllFarRightMen

17/ Gearoid Murphy has history of making videos attacking women and abusing women online He has also called to women workplace to intimidate her

While asking UK fascist Tommy Robinson for 'reliable rape stats', Gearoid Murphy was publicly calling women in Ireland 'bitches'

18/ Murphys mate and National Party member Paul ONeil regularly interviews NP candidates and guest speaks at NP events, but was booted off YouTube not long after a live stream discussing the public torture and execution of women.

19/ It is clear misogyny and violence is part of far right ideas and for this gang of men

20/ The day after the brutal murder of Aisling Murphy, McConnell set up a 'petition' on his website. The petition pretended it has over 37,000 signatures, but this was entirely faked.

21/ Once you entered your data to McConnell's fascist website, you got redirected to a page selling a book of far right conspiracy and violence against women.

Who does something like that?

Another man in McConnell's and Barretts movement is Pa Redmond.

22/ Redmond is a former member of Generation Identity and was part of the National Party gang that orchestrated the attack on Izzy Kamikaze at an NP demo. A gang organising literal violence against a woman because she rightfully opposes their hate.

23/ National Party member Michael Quinn is currently serving a prison sentence for that attack. Fascists don't care about women, they care about power and violence.

24/ Here is Quinn at another NP demo with other NP members, including Youth leader Yan Mac Oireachtaigh. These men work as gangs, dressed up a political organisation. They all know each other, protect each other.

25/ To the right of Michael Quinn in this photo we see JohnMcGhee sporting National Party hoodie. Seen more fully in the other photo here. McGhee has previous for assault and battery against a women

26/ John McGhee also recently outted himself in a NP Telegram chat when he described how he and another man. prowled a primary school in close to where he lives and defaced the flag at the shool with homophobic grafitti. The thread was about encouraging other attacks

27/ In the chat, run by a prominent National Party member, we also see 'Bleeding Holograms' commenting. This is the handle used by Shane Mason, a rabid antisemite who makes music for British loyalist and neonazi outfit Patriot Alternative.

28/ Yet another man who is a regular feature at far right demos is Alan Sweeney. He likes to present himself as a nice quite lad, not like other far right men.

29/ Yet after a group of other men threw a disabled woman to the ground, and police moved them on, Sweeney is seen here returning to spit on her

30/ Finally for now there is National Party activists and conspiracy theorist Philip Dwyer. Dwyer livestreams homophobic rants to YouTube. He turned up at turned up a presser last year trying to intimidate media workers speaking to stalking victims and advocates for justice.

31/ A few nights ago he interrupted live TV news broadcast about the murder of Aisling Murphy. To rant about a covid conspiracy. He and the men above don't care about Ailsing Murphy, her family or community. The care about fostering more fear, more hate and more violence

32/ I could go on, there are many more incidents. But its not just about incidents. Its about the core ideas and practice of the far right as a whole. It is a movement almost entirely/exclusively of men. These men for the most part know each other.

33/ These men's ideas and practices stand in direct opposition to the emancipation and safety of women, despite what they say.

34/ I fully expect them to keep continued to do what they have already tried to do which is to exploit the brutal murder of aAisling Murphy to push more hate, encourage more violence. Such as spreading fake news on WhatApp and other platforms

35/ I hope the about helps show people that the far right are no friends to women. In fact there are a significant part of the problem that encourages young men to think and act as if women are subjects of men, lesser than men. To be mere child bearing vessels for them.

36/ Don't stand for it, keep them out of your communities, see these men for what they are.
