I keep running into Twitt accounts trying to blackmail Democrats into nominating "leftist" candidates--or else, they say, they'll waste their vote on third-party losers.

They don't seem to think a Fascist Reich run by Republicans is going to hurt them.

They do seem to honestly believe voting for a Democrat is a gracious favor they might consider doing for the rest of us--rather than it being the only way to save democracy.

I truly don't understand how these people "think."

Of course, it could be mostly trollbots and Russian psyops trollfarms spreading this nonsense. But apparently they think Americans are stupid enough to fall for it. Which again gets back to the question: Are people really that dumb?

When I look at the absurd "news" media, and think about how Democrats lost ground in the House even though Biden won in 2020, it's hard to think of the average American voter as being terrible intelligent and engaged and informed.

We have work to do.

(Their common response--"If you don't give me M4A and cancel my student loans, how am I better off under Democrats than Republicans?"--betrays a complete lack of knowledge both of fascism and of the immense strides made under Democrats. Again: Are people really that stupid?)

BYW, those "leftist" candidates they're trying to blackmail us into nominating? THEY CAN'T WIN. They're not even popular among Democrats, let alone the whole voting public. THAT'S WHY THEY HAVE TO RESORT TO BLACKMAIL IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET THEM NOMINATED.
