Congratulations you’re seeing this tweet; we’ve always talked about how to get into tech; I’ve started teaching you how to code, now let’s talk about how to make millions while learning this.
If you need money to fund your passion in tech, kindly retweet for others & open👇🏽
Acquiring a digital skill can be somewhat hard, especially when you have no money to motivate and fund your passion, in this thread I’d teach you how I made up to 2k$ while still learning how to code.
If you wish to learn programming, kindly give me a follow and check my pinned
Tweet.
Let’s get to it.
In this thread, I’ll be using a bit of my journey as an example, it speaks about programming, and you can apply these to other facets of tech that you may be into.
You can code online and earn money sooner than you think. You don’t have to be a pro
Some of you are probably thinking, “Yeah, I can relate to everything you’re saying, but how do I make money while learning to code?”
1. Search and Apply for internships.
An internship may come in free or paid, but paid internships are most common and easy to find
These companies can be local or international, they aren’t necessarily looking for experts, I mean, they want to train you, isn’t that why it is internship?
You even get paid while learning to do stuffs.
In 2016 while still learning to code, I applied for an internship
with a German Tech, and the only skill I had then was basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT, with proficiency in tech writing. I was accepted, and I got paid in euro which was a lot of money when converted to our local currency.
I purchased some of the gadget
that aid my journey through with the money I earned from this internship. It was for a 24 month span and I made the most of it.
For example my company @theswiftspeed , currently have and accept paid internship. So do many other local tech company, so jazz up and seek for
Internship.
2. Offer another sellable service at the side.
As a beginner trying to make money coding for the first time, it’s nice to find low-pressure gigs that helps you financially. Tech aside, most youths wants their own money and live independently.
So many students
Entrepreneurs on WhatsApp status and Instagram. If you think you have the capacity to divert and learn tech skills and you will be fully focus. You can fund your passion with extra income you are getting from your business.
For me, I didn’t do this sha, but could be useful.
3. Start a blog
I did this. After I got my paid internship I got really good at writing technical contents and articles about technology, I was basically big tech company centered and I write mostly about Google products.
It’s a niche I carved for myself and mastered because
of my love for tech and Google Inc as a company. Now take a deep breathe, think about something you like and passionate about.
I carved out a niche off it and if you think you can produce content on it on a consistent basis, build your own blog immediately.
Building a blog is easy
Buy an hosting
Buy a domain name
Install Wordpress using softaculous on CPANEL
Boom💥 design your website and start creating your content.
Apply for Adsense to monetize your website.
I did this and I’m still doing it 👍
4. Join a Freelancing website
If you have the skills you can offer as service to clients then these freelancing websites can make you lot of money.
I only did this for a bit but it made millions for my friends and close associates.
Jobs they get can include but not
Limited to creative writing gig, tech writing gig, SEO, social media promotion, coding, and project collaborations
5. Search and Seek for Connections.
In life, connections and access to people who are already doing better in the field you intend to move to is essential
I had and still have mentors, who helped me navigate my journey and connect me to people I can only dream of meeting on my own. Build your relationships on solid and you’re eating Good.
My mentor was paying me because I was always around to co-test his project. Say 200$ a month
But it was more than enough at the time and helped me a lot with my programming journey.
6. Share Your Progress on Social Media
It’s saddens my heart that some people feel odd about learning to code, they’ll rather send private messages than post their progress on the TL
Let people know what you’re doing. I was having discussions with a recruiter about this last week and he told me they’ve been monitoring a guy who seems to be very good about manipulating designs and they think they could bring him on to their team.
Recruiter gets paid for
Bringing in someone that contributes a lot of values to the team so they are everywhere on social media looking for you. Especially Linkedln so don’t shut up about your progress, make it choke!
7. Lastly, Practice often, keep a growing mindset and believe you can do it
Odds are, you’ll need to pass an interview or two to land your first coding internship or job.
Whether your intention is to change careers or figure out how to make money coding from home on the side, it can be frustrating when you don’t hit your goal as soon as you’d like.
But don’t give up! I have just shaded few ways to keep pushing through.
Thank you for reading, please follow my new creation @Swiftspeedt we are taking over Africa in few on learning in demand tech skills and offering scholarships. 😉

Understandably so, I do not blame them, never, because tech/coding is not for everyone.

What will my small account do for you now
He changed my username from kynsofficial to this and texted a bunch of white people. I don’t use Instagram often so I didn’t notice until this morning. He deleted my number from my profile and email.
After hacking him out, I logged him out of his Samsung phone and used 2fa😂 fun
