The jist of R13 is for us to obey all public officials under any and all circumstance as that is the will of the christian god.

A demand for an unquestioning submittal to the authority of the State or face divine damnation.

Rev Craig follows up with his own prayer, proclaiming sovereignty comes from the christian god (yuck) and declares the legislature to be composed and for only christian god fearing South Dakotans.

Lots of foreshadowing in the prayer.

2. Conflicting identity? Nope, identity comes from god and god alone. (False)

3. Individuality is bad, actually. (Not)

4. Only men and women, only Rs and Ds and only xtians are South Dakotans.

5. The legislature is the home of the christian god's authority. (It isn't)

6. Gov Noem's plans reflect the will of the christian god. (wrong again)

7. Legislators and judges need to also follow the will of the christian god (do I need to say it?)

Ol' Feckless declares this a net positive for us (it isn't) and looks forward to Noem's agenda. The rest of it is poorly written propaganda using the same old words they like to use. "Our people" "Trust". Rev Craig's prayer informed us to who "Our people" are and aren't.

Noem is setting up her plan of action based on a falsehood. Not surprising given Rev Craig's opening. The Dec of Ind is not a governing document. The Constitution is. Dec says stuff like god and creator, Const does not.

To sum it up, Noem is going to cause a law suite (one of many) to try different angles to get it to the US Supreme Court so RvW gets overturned. It's the shotgun method and they'll try in different jurisdictions until they get a favorable judge.
