1./ Does the @BBC deserve more money? Here's just a few ways it could stop wasting license payers' money, provide a better service and give less of an impression it functions as the plaything of a tiny, unrepresentative minority. independent.co.uk/news/uk/bbc-na…
2./ It took 2 years of complaints before the @BBC finally removed this "educational" material it produced for Primary Schools that contained the legend there were over 100 gender identities. That the videos were ever made was a sign of a weird ideological capture.
3./ Many BBC journalists say privately they feel unable to speak openly about gender issues. It might be an idea for the @BBC to dispel the sense it's enforcing a narrow agenda at the behest of lobby groups including its own LGBT+ staff group @BBCPride 👇dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9…
4./ The unhealthy influence of this daft group was enshrined in 2018 when the BBC issued its LGBT Culture and Progression Report which was co-authored by our august national broadcaster and its tiny loudmouth staff group no one voted for.👇 bbc.co.uk/diversity/stra…
5./ In the Report @BBCPride claimed they'd surveyed the LGBT staff at the Corporation and announced "Along the way you've told us LGBT is much more fluid, where the boundaries of sexual orientation and gender identity blur beyond the L, G, B or T." Oh do stop making it up. 👇
6./ I hear endless suggestions from insiders that senior BBC management feel the need regularly to consult this unrepresentative group of self-appointed social justice warriors. Yet, in the Report the staff group made clear their agenda was essentially driven by @Stonewalluk👇
7./ Not only does the Report advocate sucking up to a lobby group, Stonewall, by trying to get into its Top 100 employers, it recommends launching an ally programme with the charity's "support" that COSTS license payers money. Training a group of just 12 people costs £6500.👇
8./ Yes, the @BBC was paying Stonewall to advise a pro-Stonewall staff group who then advocated spending huge amounts of money on Stonewall. By the way, "allies" are non-LGBTQ+ people. In other words, Stonewall had found a way to get paid to guilt-trip straight people.🤣
9./ Of course this makes sense. If you misrepresent gay people's sexuality to other gay people they might contradict you by stating a heresy like lesbians neither have nor like dicks. Straight people might believe the BS you tell them about gays, as silly BBC execs clearly did.
10./ No wonder when @StephenNolan and @dt_ni investigated the undue influence of Stonewall on institutions including the BBC for their Nolan Investigates podcast they were warned off by colleagues. A rainbow coloured omerta has gripped the Corporation. 👇thetimes.co.uk/article/bbc-po…
11./ Naturally, @BBCSounds never promoted the podcast despite its rave reviews. You wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of the Pink Stasi would you? Instead, it relentlessly promoted stuff like Queertopia. Let me know if you see rave reviews for that. bbc.co.uk/programmes/p09…
12./ Here's another radical thought. If cash is tight does @BBC really need an LGBT+ correspondent? Is there a Working Class Correspondent? And I wonder if new LGBT Correspondent @joshparry will avoid the conflict of interest Ben Hunte presented by hosting a Stonewall event.👇
13./ A look at his timeline suggests Josh hasn't listened to the Nolan podcast and its reminder it's inappropriate to take sides with charities, or their policies; no matter how worthy. How can Josh report objectively on, say, an HIV treatment, if he is also advocating it?👇
14./ Cabotegravir is a promising new drug that may revolutionise HIV treatment but questions have been raised about its cost effectiveness. Maybe gay men and taxpayers generally might prefer an LGBT+ correspondent to report on the pros AND the cons too.👇
pharmaceutical-technology.com/features/compe…
15./ The question about identitarian correspondents is are they activists or reporters? Take @meghamohan the BBC's "Gender and Identity Correspondent". What does that even mean? It seems to mean taking pot shots at feminists who don't follow the line.👇bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-tre…
16./ @ChimamandaReal is an avowed champion of Nigerian LGB & T rights, yet when she said transwomen retained advantages from being brought up male Mohan's piece suggested this was some sort of extreme view. Maybe in North London it is. The idea it's unusual in Nigeria is absurd.
17./ So the views of one of Africa's cultural luminaries was weighed against those of a trans beauty queen based in London with no attempt to interrogate either. A narrow gender identity bias ran through Mohan's work. Here's her on the "gender binary". 👇
bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-…
18./ It contains the legend, "some people in Western cultures say that gender is binary and divided into male and female." Yep, 95% of the population are convinced of that, and the joke is that's a smaller % than every other culture in the world (which has managed to survive).😂
19./ The BBC doesn't just waste our money with nonsense like this. It does a disservice to good journalists like Megha, Josh and Ben Hunte who would do much better work if they were pressed to be independent-minded and not uncritical amplifiers of ideological positions.
20./ The BBC is undermining the integrity of its journalists and its own credibility by refusing to insist on impartiality. And it hasn't learned. After it was forced to part with Stonewall it signed up to another expensive gaslighting service. 👇telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/11/2…
21./ INvolve promote the same Diversity and Inclusion baloney as $tonewall, ie virtue signalling dressed up in management speak. Here's them describing a successful INtervention they made in a company which faced an epic challenge of our time: Lack of + representation.👀👇
22./ Yep, a company paid good money to improve the representation of "those who identify as ...part of the +" I hate to seem unsympathetic but if you describe yourself as "part of the +" maybe it might help to come up with a descriptor that isn't a mathematical symbol. 🤷‍♂️
23./ The BBC says it's short of cash yet it refuses to reveal how much it lavished on Stonewall. Perhaps, now money is going to get even tighter, it will reveal how much taxpayers' money it's throwing by the bucket load over INvolve to brainwash its staff in unscientific garbage.
24./ The BBC is an extraordinary cultural treasure. I loved working for it; as almost everyone who passes through its portals does. It would be utter vandalism to destroy it. But the BBC's case would be so much stronger if it could be bothered to tackle its own vandals within.

1./ The fake trans science bandwagon trundles on. Yet another paper by ideological activists self-identifying as objective scientists is now being amplified by the American media to claim that trans hormone therapy saves lives. Mmm. Let's have a little look at this claim. /1of19
2./ @nowthisnews claims the study shows access to hormone therapy "reduces suicide rates". In fact the paper itself explored a possible association between levels of depression, thoughts of suicide and attempted suicide. Although the researchers were happy to put a spin on it.
3./ The paper compares young people who've had access to hormone therapy and those who wanted it but couldn't get it. 23% of those who wanted it claimed to have attempted suicide versus 14% for those who got it. But there is a glaring omission in the paper.

1./ Why are our opponents so DUMB? It's a question you can't help but ask after the latest agitated LGBTQ+ protest. It was against @markjenkinsonmp who's dared to question the way trans ideology is being pushed like kid-friendly kool aid in the nation's schools.

2./ Jenkinson asked questions this week in Parliament about reports some schools were not informing parents they'd allowed their children to socially "transition" and that some social services were putting pressure on parents to affirm their child's "trans identity". 👇
3./ The response by @MinFreerHMG was underwhelming. "Parents and carers will, of course, have the right to express their views on how a child identifies." Well, thank you very much Minister. For asking questions like this Jenkinson has been labelled a transphobe and homophobe.👇

1./ What a loss. Jana Bennett was one of the leading lights of a platoon of brilliant women that took over the Science Department at the BBC in the 1990s. She ushered in a golden era at 'Horizon' when some blockbusters garnered more than 5 million viewers. broadcastnow.co.uk/bbc/jana-benne…
2./ Jana combined passion for science with the instinct for a good story. At 'Horizon' she kept a framed copy of the ratings for one stellar week on BBC2 in 1993 when 9 out of the top 10 rating shows were 'Snooker' except for one: Horizon: The Pyramid Builders (5.1M).
3./ Along with Susan Spindler, Lorraine Heggessy Bettina Lerner, Jane Root and Emma Swain, Jana helped transform the BBC. But it was always about more than ratings. As part of a small development team she sent me to cover an archaeological dig in Kent where graves had been found.

. 1/ For those mesmerised by the sheer strangeness of Della Alexander, the producer of the first ever TV show presented by trans people in 1973 on the BBC here's an update. It appears the star of the show, the fragrant Della, was a keen supporter of Mosley and his fascists.👇
2./ In academic essays Derek Alexander appears as Mosley's South African lieutenant. Della travelled there to support apartheid and became an army reservist. This may explain why in the BBC show a medium is said to have put him in touch with a man with a funny moustache.
3./ Thanks to @coccinellanovem & @fcqv for the detective work. The muffled reference from Della to those who gave her paranormal advice is to "Dr Vervoerd" who introduced mass detention and imprisoned Nelson Mandela. Thank goodness you can't judge a movement by one bad apple.

1./ What's the truth about the rise of the modern trans movement? Behind the largely fictional official tale there's a stranger, more interesting reality. There's a glimpse of it in this gem from the BBC archive; the first TV show made by transsexuals.👇
bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06…
2./ In 1973 the Beeb gave a group of "transex activists" their own broadcast. It was a pivotal moment and connects to many of the major characters and forces that shaped the trans lobby and disproves the official LGBTQ+ history like this nonsense from @washingtonpost.👇
3./ In the fake gospel gay and trans people were allies from the start and trans people of colour played a leading role in gaining gay rights, starting at Stonewall. This despite the fact latterday icons Marsha P Johnson and Sylvia Rivera both admitted they were marginal.👇

1./ Is there a lesson from the scientific past that might explain the boom in people identifying as trans? Trans activists tell us the reason is that centuries of erasure are over. Critics argue transition is being promoted by stories like this.👇
nymag.com/intelligencer/…
2./ The piece in @NYMag tells the story of transman Gabriel Mac's struggle to get a surgical penis. The tone is captured in the opening line. "On the day I heard my penis would be huge I sobbed". The reception was as effusive. "It gives me such hope" said one entrepreneur. 👇
3./ Author of 'Becoming Heroines' and self-styled mentor of women, Elizabeth C McLaughlin also described the penis grafting as an example of agency both "miraculous and fucking brave". Given it's an op with a 50% fail rate and multiple complications brave is one word to use.👇
