I have become a confessional for how difficult it is to be a martyr and wear an N95. Many people at work wear N95 voluntarily. I am a serf so I wear it because my master told me to. Just about a third of voluntarily N95'ed people lamented their issues to me. /1

I became a draw because I wear a comfortable loose fitting KN95, origami-ed into a contraption I can breathe in and not end up a wrinkled mummy.
-Where did you get it? Do we have more?
- I bought it on Amazon. A large pack.

Many people have their faces turn into inflamed red mess, either due to skin infections or allergic reactions to particular masks. People with dark skin chafe their skin to the point on skin color change. /3

They resort to wearing additional bandaids at pressure points but that breaks the seal of the tight mask. Technically, an issue for isolation rooms. Now, remember, they are all vaccinated three times by now. They do it voluntarily to themselves. /4

Now that there is a rampant free running outbreak in the building and they see everyone who is diligent wearing ultra deluxe protection nicely succumb to a cold, their anxiety is through the roof. They know they are sitting ducks. /5

They are angry at the hospital policies. When you tell them that the simple fact that everyone will encounter this virus was clear as a day in March 2020, they say that they hoped that vaccines would prevent infections like they were told. /6

When you tell them that this was not the case with other vaccines, they have nothing to say other than suffer in misery and fear. But they still believe in a random concoction of comforting myths./7

They swap stories of outdoor exposure and transmission. Ponder why exposed immunocompromised people do not get sick and many other mysteries of the universe around them. /8

The sad part - no cohesive theory arises from their observations because they ignore reality in favor of what they were told. /9
