personally i view uni as an uber massive shitcoin with no utility and governance kabuki but its been blessed by the effirium high council so no heresy allowed

i think cyrus has the best explanation if you understand standard universal tardfi speak with some crypto jargon

my tldr is that its a closed end fund that hacked fundraising at high premiums using the APY magic trick because ppl genuinely do not understand what they are buying
i dont see anything wrong or malicious thinking that it could be a reserve currency, whether that is likely or not is a separate issue tho

premiums were high cos ppl didnt know premiums was what was important

but now they do, so the premiums probably doesnt go too crazy anymore
my issue with all the designs is the inability to actually ever have claim on the underlying treasury

to some, its a bug that should be fixed
to others, its a feature that should remain

im not bothered because

- if regulators are taking the verbal diarrhea from Hentai Senpai, Retired Ponzi Connoisseur, Casual Hentai Enjoyer, Anime Tiddy Expert at face value, they are retarded

- crypto is inevitable
unfortunately i view everything as a ponzi in the most broad and vauge way possible because im too lazy to argue lexical semantics with people

i can do this because i am confirmed retarded
whether regulators take a few years or a decade to figure it out, its not my problem

in the grand scheme of things, does it matter if old boomers took a few extra years to regulate things because of scary labels used by autistic internet frogs?

this was very tardfi thinking, need to think of a way to create and capture speculative premium

and tbh, even if you only have speculative premium, thats ok

you dont need to even have a working product that creates any surplus value, could even be (and probably is) negative sum

imo this clicks for ppl that have ever done hard work for slavery wages

if not, you just wouldnt get it

you could slave away your entire life and have less to your name than someone with "lesser principles" lol who even cares

are these principles in the room with us right now?
guess what most of yall principles are NFTs with zero bids and arent worth anything anyway welcome to the new economy where your market value is objectively worth less than someone else all animals are equal but some are more equal than others
what im saying is there that is a trade - a zero downside trade for most retail anon nobodies whose principles and integrity mean nothing, to capitalize on their inability to go negative, to long profit opportunities, which people with these valued "principles" are unable to take
