India took to #BNPL in a big way in 2021 and it emerged as a loved payment option across the country. We saw demand from 99% of pin codes.

We added the most customers in the 23-26 years age group but saw demand from 18 to 66-year-olds...
Millennials and Gen Z are loving the ease and convenience of BNPL. We saw 2X growth in millennials and 3X growth in Gen Z using BNPL. ๐Ÿคฉ

Female customer base was up by 143%ย  โ™€๏ธ

Tier II and III cities continue to drive demand for #BNPL
Festive season is massive for the retail and e-commerce industry in India. ๐ŸŽ†

Consumer demand is at its peak and we saw people turn to BNPL for their purchases.

Customer applications were up 10X and transactions on our partners like @Flipkart @amazonIN @myntra were up 200%
Excitingly, 2021 will stand out as a year that saw #D2C brands take to BNPL in a big way! We saw our D2C merchant base grow 10X in 2021

Legacy brands are upping D2C game too and affordability is key to driving sales.

D2C + BNPL will be a match made in heaven this year ๐Ÿ˜˜
Physical retail still matters in India! But increasingly digital finance is winning in-store ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

Our store network saw a 5X increase in txn no.

We are live at 75,000 stores at brands like @Apple @RelianceDigital and @SangeethaMobile
Banks + #BNPL = happy customers ๐Ÿฆ

With ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ at <3% credit card penetration, collaboration between financial institutions and #FinTechs is the way to drive access to credit (at scale). This will play out strongly in 2022 as #BNPL players partner with banks to build together ๐Ÿค
India is a ripe market for #BNPL with increasing smartphone penetration, cheap mobile data, ease of digital payments, and a stable regulatory environment that is #DigitalFirst.

2022 will be the year we see huge value creation in the category ๐Ÿš€
We believe India will be the largest #BNPL and #EmbeddedFinance market in the world. More market cap will be created in India than anywhere else in the coming times. These will be India categories ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ
2021 was the year we saw a 300% growth in BNPL transactions, doubled our user base and tripled our merchant base, gained 50% share in the Indian BNPL market and 70% in the online #PayIn3 no-cost offering
