I have a feeling this will not tamp down the rage that a certain type of lefty blue check feels toward Gorsuch supposedly on Sotomayor’s behalf. ImageImageImageImage
Although as others have pointed out, while this statement clearly shoots down a Twitter talking point, it doesn’t directly dispute the reporting by NPR.
Ah. Well. That clears it up.
Do you know how bad your reporting has to be for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to come out publicly and call bullshit?

I want to take you through how misinformation like this gets mainstreamed by the corporate press and others.

First, some background. @NPR reporter @NinaTotenberg reported that tensions were high at SCOTUS, particularly because Justice Gorsuch had supposedly refused a request from Chief Justice Roberts to put on a mask to help protect Justice Sotomayor. ImageImage

This is a malicious lie from The Daily Beast. Anyone who has listened to the audio knows that.

Watters is talking about asking Fauci a question to catch him in his lies.

The spitting image of fake news.
Here’s the full clip, where Watters says that young conservatives should directly challenge Fauci if he comes to their college campuses and “be respectful”
It’s absolute bullshit to pretend he’s calling for violence. He’s urging young conservative activists, if people like Fauci come to their campus, to use it as an opportunity to ask pointed questions.

NEW: The Biden Admin sent talking points out today touting their accomplishments to (some) reporters. It can only be described as a war on reality.

Quick 🧵 to break down the end-of-year desperation they’re hoping the press will buy. ⤵️
First, vaccination rates. Without mentioning that the Admin inherited three vaccines from their predecessor, Biden claims credit for a 70% jump in vaccination rate year-over-year.
A year ago, the first vaccine had been administered one week prior, so OF COURSE vax rates were low.

But when Biden was sworn in, the US was vaccinating citizens at the 5th highest rate in the developed world.

We’ve got to talk about the Jussie Smollett case.

I know it can seem easy to laugh or shrug off. But it’s instructive in why so many people don’t trust the corporate press and the Dems & commentators who help drive it.

So let’s revisit ⤵️
First, a reminder on the original details. Actor @JussieSmollett alleged that two white men wearing MAGA hats out for a stroll at 2 AM in Chicago in -20 degree weather recognized him & beat him up yelling racist and homophobic slurs. Luckily, he fought them off, supposedly.
The press quickly jumped on the story despite the relatively inconceivable nature of the allegations, asserting that surely this had happened as Smollett describes.

Here’s @CNN reporting this as not something they was alleged but that definitely happened (multiple times).
