✅AM 207 notified content remains accessible while the assessment of its legality is pending. During the assessment process, platforms cannot be held liable for failing to remove the notified content. This is an important safeguard against over-removals/over-compliance
✅AM 513, the 'media exemption' that however, does not contain must carry obligation for media content but grants privileged appeal mechanism to dominant media against platforms' content moderation was rejected. This is a big win!
✅AMs 517 & 520 protecting people's anonymity, the leading vehicle of online safety received so much needed support. Users have he right to use and pay for services anonymously without their personal data being abused or subject to unauthorized disclosure.
✅We salute to all MEPs who voted in favor of AM 202, establishing a new protective measure against dark patterns; & AM 500 prohibiting targeting & amplification techniques that "process, reveal or infer" personal data. This is huge! Congrats to all who kept a good fight!
