They make sustainable, measured investments, don't 'splash cash'. Also true.

Think mostly long-term. Not short.
Thing is, I'm told, this is biggest obstacle #NUFC face in doing deals, particularly with clubs abroad.

While spending will + exponentially from MA era - already has - it will not be the wild, 'pay whatever they want' approach some crave.
And that's where this 'richest club in the world' causes undue frustration re fans. It shouldn't, given what's gone before, but it does.

This has been a challenging window so far for #NUFC, there is an acknowledgement of that. But I'm told there is an expectation the club will be very busy between now and Feb 1.
The work is tireless to improve. And I think we can all appreciate that.

#NUFC owners wanted majority of deals done early. They got 2 - & I think they did well to get that many, in such a short, challenging, crazy window. Of course, they wanted more.
They now expect things to go much later, but ideally not too late, as sellers refocus their thinking.

January is normally about tweaks to a squad. #NUFC need a near complete rebuild.
And there remains a real confidence transfer committee of EH, JT, AS & SN - tasked with implementing extensively-planned transfer blueprint - will get job done this month.
Patience/faith required.
