Am I the only one who is somewhat fascinated by the fact that anti-colonial group Black Hammer was founded by someone whose real name is Augustus Claudius Romain?

As in the first Roman Emperor (Augustus) famous for finishing off the Republic and imperial expansion?

I mean... none of us choose what our name is at birth, but I think Gazi secretly loves his real name.

Why else wouldn't he have changed it by now? Still his legal name when he trademarked BH last year.

I think the use of "victoriously" and "commander" are also telling...

And how old is Gazi Kodzo, anyway? We know from previous exposes that while he claims to have been born in 1990, he was actually born in 1986.

How far did he take the lie?

Well, ask yourself how he registered to vote in Georgia and Florida with different dates of birth?

Note the Georgia registration was right after his 18th birthday. Or after his 14th birthday if you believe his bullshit.

And the Florida registration was after he joined the African People’s Socialist Party and moved there, working on their campaigns for local elections...

Maybe the reason Black Hammer pushes the far right election fraud narrative is because election fraud is something Augustus Claudius Romain, Jr. is familiar with.

There is a reason for the phrase "go with what you know."

So how did we get from Augustus Claudius Romain, Jr....

to Gazi Kodzo (even though he has never really left Augustus behind)?

So Gazi Kodzo was born June 23, 1986 (as previously stated, named Augustus Claudius Romain, Jr).

His parents were married in 1978 in Manhattan and lived in Brooklyn.

He has a sibling born the next year.

His dad has government ties....

In the early 80s he worked for the Small Business Administration.

He was the head contract negotiator for the SBA in a deal involving a company called WedTech.

I'm not claiming the elder Romain did anything wrong (you can read the report) but it highlights the govt connections...

Later he started his own consulting company (in 1996) which was awarded lucrative federal contracts.

So when people say Gazi Kodzo grew up in an upper "middle" class family, they aren't lying.

What is important to know is that in the early to mid 90s his mother (a former model in NYC who was born in Trinidad) was in the Metro Atlanta area. And presumably Augustus Junior was as well.

And she was later featured in the AJC.

That feature helps show the wealthy lifestyle Augustus Jr. grew up in.

I seriously don't know anyone who can personally relate to growing up like that...

and I don't know how he thinks (as the product of affluent immigrants)...

that generations of POC who have struggled here in America can relate to him.

For one, the price he successfully brings into Black Hammer as members or donors don't understand that before Gazi Kodzo, there was Gussie Baptiste. Before which was Smiletone Cosmopolitan...
