Cons are giddy because Bari Weiss acknowledged the shortcomings of cloth masks (12 months after it was obvious), and that she said asymptomatic people wave vaxx passes (wrongly suggesting that being vaxxed can’t mean symptomatic).

Bari and @billmaher only nibble around at partial edges of things that anyone outside corperate PR (“media”) should have yelled about 6-12 months ago and they indeed did so at the risk of bans. Many were indeed banned! Please read the thread above of things that are basics!

As @julie_kelly2 noted, she owns @bariweiss nothing to applaud Bari for nibbling around the edges of things that are obvious for 6-12-18 months, while Bari has yet to adapt broader COVID-related points that are known for anyone that follows data/logic as threated here:

Weiss finally blasted cloth masks and raised partial issues with vaxx passes because both have gone quite mainstream recently. They aren’t as popular as talking about Collusion, but it broke through in recent weeks. Not sure what the applaud here is. cc @ClayTravis @Zigmanfreud

If Fauci came around on a COVID policy on which there was data 12-15 months ago that it’s flawed, will Cons be happy?

I have no clue why Weiss deserves credit for conceding only a portion of the problem; 6-12-18 months late and without saying how she’ll do better going forward.

Again, the two things that Weiss mentioned are finally more broadly acceptable as a stance. It takes no courage to say it; you need to be a science-denying mask/vaxx pass freak not to say it. Besides, she didn’t go “there” all out. She didn’t critique masks overall.
