Although Bose was travelling as a Muslim, his stay was arranged at Deans Hotel -hotel used by Hindus. Infact, it was Tongawala who insisted that Bose-disguised as good Muslim- shud not stay at hotel frequented by infidels & made both of them stay at Tajmahal instead!
Guess what after Bose’s death and creation of Pakistan, Mian Akbar Shah dumped Khudai Khidmatgar movement and joined Muslim League and even fought elections on their ticket. I am sure had Bose been alive, Akbar Shah wud have stayed in Pak and not India!
Second is Abid Hasan & there is not much that need to be told about him. Yes he was a close associate of Netaji but he got more than anyone else from India. Served as IFS officer for 21 years; was closed confidante of Nehru Gandhi’s-bête noire of Bose!
Thirds comes Mohd Zaman Kiani; glorified by Sugata Bose. Yes he was a Bose compatriot but later played the most important role in accession of POK by force. He, as Pak Army, officer, led their Poonch rebellion and played huge role in formation of what Pak calls Azad Kashmir
Kiani even served as Political agent of Pakistan in Gilgit - if one can glorify Kiani, then what is the harm in glorifying Jinnah!
Habib Ur Rehman-LOL; same guy who was Chief of Staff of Kiani when he established GHQ in POK. He led the war in Bhimber and ensured its loss from Maharaja’s forces. Helped raiders rape and kill Pandits and what not- was awarded Fateh-e-Bhimber,Fakhr-e-Kashmir, Ghazi-e-Kashmir
Shahnawaz Khan: need I say anything more about his role in deepening mystery of Netaji’s disappearance following alleged air accident. The loot of money filled suitcases, that followed & whitewashing of the whole affair at the behest of Nehru! @anujdhar shud educate @_nehruvian
Unlike their M compatriots, glorified by @_nehruvian and @Javedakhtarjadu and Sugata Ghose; both Sehgal and Gurbaksh Singh remained true to Indian union and India. Read history correctly and without any biases
