.@TBS_Canada & @SSC_CA, can confirm they are working with #GC partners, including @cse_cst & its Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, in response to a recent cyber incident involving @GAC_Corporate. (3/9)

The cyber incident was detected on January 19, after which mitigation actions were taken. (4/9)

Critical services for Canadians through @GAC_Corporate are currently functioning. Some access to Internet and internet-based services are not available as part of the mitigation measures and work is underway to restore them. (5/9)

There is no indication that any other departments have been impacted by this incident. There are systems and tools in place to monitor, detect, and investigate potential threats, and to take active measures to address and neutralize them when they occur. (6/9)
