Luke 8:49b KJV
"...Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master."
I wouldn't blame them for this piece of advice to those who were troubling the Master. Afterall, it was obvious to all, the child was dead
1. They probably didn't really
""KNOW" Jesus. 2. They probably knew or heard He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, healed one or two crippled folks, and the best they probably heard of Jesus was that, when He showed up at Peter's workplace, He did what could be termed as an exceptional miracle. Well,
Elijah did similar stuffs anyways, they said. 3. The knew Jesus to be a gentle and easy going and probably did not show any sign of someone that could raise the dead, someone in the semblance of Elijah who called down fire or Elisha who was a bit temperamental and performed some
very powerful miracles. 4. Jesus? Oh pleaseeeeee. Raising a child is above His "pay grade" He doesn't have the pedigree or looks, they said.
Nkw, imagine Jesus coming in and making them look stupid by saying in V52
Luke 8:52 MSG
Everyone was crying and carrying on over her.
Jesus said, "Don't cry. She didn't die; she's sleeping."
Like seriously?
Jesus, You must really have some nerve coming in here and telling us we dint know the difference between a chil sleeping & a child that is stone cold dead.
Luke 8:53 MSG
They laughed at him. They knew she
was dead.
Ofcourse, they laughed. They scorned. They thought Jesus was nuts. (Would you blame them?)
Suddenly, the unthinkable happened
Luke 8:54 msg
Then Jesus, gripping her hand, called, "My dear child, get up."
Luke 8:55 MSG
She was up in an instant, up & breathing again!
He told them to give her something to eat.
"In an Instant"
No stories.
No long thing.
It's God we are talking about here nau.
When He shows up, the outcome is always mind-blowing.
God will show up for you.
In that situation that appear so overwhelming,
In that situation
everyone knows nothing else can be done, God will sure up.
He will overturn the table.
He will reverse the situation.
He will overwhelm everyone with "shock"
- Ps. 109:21-31
A Detroit newspaper reportd that a patient in a local hospital was shot and killed as he lay in his bed recovering from a previous gunshot wound. The victim had been listed in fair condition
prior to the shooting and was looking forward to going home. Hospital patients and employees were stunned. A spokesperson said that nothing like this had happened in the 50yrs of the hospital's existence.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could say the same for our churches?
Wouldn't it be encouraging if we were able to say that in 50yrs of meeting together for worship, fellowship and spiritual healing, we had not had a single instance of a wounded member being cut down by the unkindness of a fellow Christian?
(There is a point God is making here. Do you catch His drift?)

6. Here’s my point. A stingy sower will reap a meager harvest, but the one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest.
7 Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of
religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving—all because God loves hilarious generosity!
8 Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make
you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.
9 Just as the Scriptures say about the one who trusts in him: Because he has sown extravagantly and given to the poor, his kindness and generous deeds will never be forgotten.
Joseph was brought into Potiphar's house as a slave. His entry was an inglorious one.
Before his (Joseph) entry, it could be said of Potiphar that he was a middle income earner. Things changed when he made Joseph the overseer of all he owned.
Genesis 39:5 MSG
From that moment on, God blessed the home of the Egyptian - all because of Joseph. The blessing of God spread over everything he owned, at home and in the fields.
You are a change agent. Do not let the devil or anyone tell you otherwise.
Jacob too, had the same
testimonial.
Genesis 30:27 MSG
Laban said, "If you please, I have learned through divine inquiry that God has blessed me because of you."
They both added great and immense value.
There's value in you. Immense value indeed.
This new week, the value in you will catch the
*Deut 28:8a MSG*
“The lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do...
*Gen 48:13-18 MSG* shows clearly, a dramatic situation.

Joseph brought his two sons to his dad, & more importantly, for his first son, Manasseh to
receive the first son's blessing.
👇🏼
While Manasseh was the natural choice & ofcourse, Joseph's preferred choice, Ephraim, was God's choice.
👉🏼While Manasseh was well positioned to receive the blessing, Ephraim was at the disadvantaged position.
👇🏼
Inspite of Ephraim's
disadvantaged position, he got the blessing.
👇🏼
Jacob crossed his hands to make Ephraim the beneficiary of the blessing, even against the natural run of play.😱
👇🏼
Joseph was going to make sure, & by all means possible, to get Manasseh to receive the blessing.

Dear 9mobile, this open letter has become very imperative for me & several others in Abeokuta. I can confirm to you, that your network has not been up & doing in the past 12 months. If it does work at all, it doesn't last for
more than 3mins/day. Unused data & airtime will suddenly expire without usage. The nonchalance of your organization our plight in Abeokuta has reach an unbearable proportion. Your entire staff in Abeokuta are daily at the mercy of angry subscribers as they obviously look helpless
and confused. We know it's beyond their pay grade, but, customers don't really care.
Transactions connected to 9mobile lines are impossible to conclude, OTPs also, cannot be retrieved, and porting to other networks is even more frustrating and impossible as your network is
